Tee Jay looks good for the US in the future but I agree this year's tour has been pretty boring. The most exciting stage to me so far has been the time trial Froome appears to have more in the tank when it counts than Wiggins, especially on the last climb of yesterday's stage. He needs to get onto a different team so we can see some fireworks again. Nobody has any more than anybody else this year and watching them ride side by side up the big mountain passes is not a thrill. When I saw Nibali attack on the last climb I was hopeful, but getting 30 meters gap and being pulled back is about what I've come to expect from this year. Hopefully the next crop of young guys has more to offer. Cadel and others suck as "favorites".

How cool to get to be the guy for whom they block off large portions of downtown San Francisco and let drive like a maniac in a purpose-built car he didn't have to buy, modify or maintain all while having a crew shoot/edit video of you doing it so everyone can sweat your nuts about it? Good times!

OKC just can't afford to keep spotting the Heat a 15-point lead in the first half. They were pulling hard at the end but ran out of time. Heat are too good not to come out of the gate strong. Also don't understand why the finals run a 2-3-2 order when the rest of the playoffs is a 2-2-1-1-1 (AFAIK). Seems like it minimizes the advantage of having home court, especially if the first two games split. Now that the Heat have split at OKC I think there's a good chance of Heat 2-1 at home and the series undecided until game 7. Still think OKC has too much of a team for the 3Heat.

Love to see a group of humble young guys playing as a team and repeatedly beating up on the best the NBA has to offer. Hard not to cheer for OKC.

The fact that they waited until the last minute to pull the plug makes me wonder if the owner just wants to maximize his stud fee/stallion price rather than risking it on a potential loss in the Belmont. Either way that horse is a boss.

But at least you don't have to come to a stop to find a turn in PA And it's amazing how neutered a performance car feels in that kind of heat as well.

And it looks like the reason they did was to allow space to package a catalytic converter right at the turbine outlet. Doh! Should be room for noticeable spool and power improvements in that setup for you guys!

I'm sure the purists will disagree, but the Aventador inspires more lust to me than the Countach did when it was new. What a car.

I'd never considered tipping my car transport guy because he owns his truck and sets the price. I could possibly see tipping an employee of a larger carrier. I would definitely tip in Mike's situation where the car arrived days early. Servers, musicians playing small local gigs and others rely on tips to survive because of unique wage situations. Lots of other industries are trying to hop on the tip bandwagon just for doing their job properly. I strongly dislike the "tip" section on my CC receipt at the sandwich shop and most other places. I tip handsomely for good service at a restaurant, lots of times more than 20%, but it's just gone too far elsewhere.

I've had the same experience as everyone else with mine. Picked it because it looks like a performance tire tread pattern.

The car was very well maintained until the third owner that sold me the car. I had to "catch up" service to get the car road worthy again. Other than usual wear and tear parts/maintenance the window regulators got very slow and needed upgrading, CCU failed, HU and amps failed and the antenna motor failed. At 300k on an untouched motor and transmission it screamed through VTEC to redline perfectly and shifted like a bolt action rifle. I had planned to refresh the motor and turbocharge it so the mileage didn't bother me. Unfortunately plans changed. The guy I sold it to flew in and drove it home to Kansas. Gotta love a Honda Boy I can't wait for the new one to come out!

Marriages fail because people settle, scared of being the old guy in the club, lonely or whatever else. Unless you are 100% certain you can't live without her/him, it's probably going to fail....that or you'll live out life in a marriage that lost its passion early on and be miserable. There is plenty that comes up as life goes on that if you don't enter a marriage feeling like nothing can get in the way, something will. I thought my life was great before I met my wife, now I don't understand how I lived without her.

Yep. Plus you're going to get one of the women knocked up almost right away anyhow and then you've got tons of chances for problems either during pregnancy or birth. Even if it all works out then you've got a baby on an island. Give me a shelter so I can sleep without having to deal with weather or animal attack and get me the hell out of there ASAP.

So now he's got a spray painted car and video proof that he assaulted someone posted all over the internet. Guess who is going to lose in this deal?
