Friends had been recommending this to me but after seeing you guys on it I finally had to give in. I am most interested to see how things proceed now that the documentary is out and the cases are getting lots of national attention. I'm hoping that Anonymous really has what they claim to have and that justice is eventually served.

I really enjoyed the movie. Went in expecting to see some cool cars and racing scenes in a mediocre movie and came out pleasantly surprised. The acting and plot far exceeded the Fast and Furious movies IMO, especially of late. Would recommend.

I've worked in turbocharging for almost my entire professional career. Exhaust pulses colliding before reaching the turbine is not ideal for performance. A tubular manifold is good for F1 and the Enzo but not reliable? There are plenty of places to make more than 1200-1300hp out of 8+ liters and forced induction. That setup doesn't even break a sweat at those power levels. If we can make 3-4 times the factory power output from Japanese imports without touching the internals, these guys have lots of headroom. I hope somebody pushes the envelope.

As long as there's space to package it, it looks to me like there's plenty more power to be had just by swapping the log manifolds and internally gated turbos out for equal length turbo manifolds and two externally wastegated turbochargers with supporting modifications and tuning. I'd also imagine that the engine itself is capable of supporting significantly more power than it's making even in SS trim. I've been waiting for someone to drop a Veyron off at one of the tuning houses and say "go nuts". It wouldn't surprise me at all if the stock internals could support in excess of 2000 WHP. Big money at risk to do it but it would be fun to watch!

I need to track down the "feel good" thread because stuff like this really gets me wound up. Nothing needs to be said for the "pastor" but the girl really blew it posting the entire receipt online....

He's clearly an asshole. Everything else aside he left the woman that stood by his side through the cancer and their three kids for other endeavors. Ignoring all of that, I loved watching him race. I didn't miss a minute of it. "The look" was one of the greatest moments in sports. Obviously we were dealing with a level playing field because everyone was doing something. He was by far the fastest on whatever it was and would've been the fastest off as well. Since they've already found everyone else in the top 10 in all of the Tours he won to be guilty of doping, do we award those Tours to someone who finished in the teens? The exercise of stripping him of titles is stupid at this point. He won them all. I still see him as one of the greatest athletes of all time even though he is a d!ck.

All this hate from the same group that was ready to write the Aventador off at this same stage. The vibe has certainly changed on that car since. It certainly looks miles better than the outgoing model in those renderings.

I downloaded the single on iTunes a couple weeks ago. Great tune. Hope they have a few more so they can hang around a while.

My wife was pulling into the mall area to go to the gym just as the first responders were arriving. I saw what was happening online and called because I knew she was headed that direction. She was turning around and leaving just as the street was flooding with police cars. Fortunately by then it was likely all over but scared me nonetheless because at that time there was no information about the status of the suspect. Police fired no rounds. Shooter killed two, seriously injured one (in serious but stable condition at OHSU and they say she will survive) and took his own life. There's a news conference at 10AM that is supposed to give names and more information. I feel completely awful for the families of the two victims that died, especially at this time of year. I wonder if perhaps mass media coverage isn't what's causing these events to snowball. Crazy guy watches TV and sees that other crazy guy is getting national media coverage for going crazy

I don't know how recent it is because I don't keep up on new technology, but I bought the Big Jambox last week and it really rocks compared to the smaller one. Lots more bass. I agree it's one of the coolest purchases I've made in a while, I use it all the time.
