I don't think it's possible to be ironic, but yes I do like that car. A factory Quattroporte is rather bland/grandpa sedan looking in factory configuration, but that's just my opinion. I'm not so sure that "sleeper" status applies here so I don't see the point in keeping it original if that's not your taste.

I think they look amazing, particularly as in the case of this one: However, the wife thinks they are ugly Tom

Attaching a jump box to the battery cables during removal and replacement of the battery will retain all system memory. Tom

1900+ WHP Underground Racing Superleggera??
hi0npsi replied to Underground Racing's topic in Archived Content
That's absolutely insane power guys, well done. I'd have to guess that's a pretty aggressive boost/timing combination, no? Any more room or is about out of breath or at the knock threshold to make this power? Here I thought 600whp felt pretty damn fast, makes that seem like play toy power. Tom -
Loved it. Thanks for sharing. Tom

Based on the pictures I'm sure his wife already knows whether or not this is true....

I'm certainly not on the pulse like I have been in the past so I hope these boys produce! Looking forward to it. Tom

Can't say I've had as strong of a distaste for any other cyclist quite as much as Contador over the last 15-20 years I've been watching. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy I hope Andy and Frank go 1-2 next year since we don't have an American hope in sight. Tom

Looks appropriately serpentine and awesome! Tom

Wow that is awful. Sounds like it sure would've been nice for him to have someone to open up to about his personal life so he didn't resort to taking his life. The world is a rough place. Tom

Official Shitty Lamborghini Kit Car and Replica Thread

You'll find a tough crowd in here. Try www.madmechanics.com or www.kitcentral.com. Tom -
All Dynojets will read the same, so comparing this to another Dynojet result would be fair. Comparing a Mustang to a Dynojet or Dyno Dynamics to a Dynojet, etc. will get different results. I've only worked with Dynojets which makes it easy to make an apples to apples comparison to another result across the country. That torque output for a supercar is actually pretty sad, let's see what you guys can do! Tom

Wonder how many tigers they got through before they got caught The picture of the cub muzzled in the suitcase is awfully sad. Tom

Moar lower would help a lot. Tom

Of all the threads on this forum that could make one jealous, this one takes the cake for me The Schwinn on the beach bit paints the perfect picture. Have a few sips for the rest of us, haha. Congratulations on your retirement and enjoy! Back on topic though, great car, great price, will make someone very happy. Somebody pick this up so he has a few extra dollars for rum =D Tom

Glad you were able to reach a suitable solution! Any pictures before and after? Tom

As my cohort here just commented: "A severe hit to the human gene pool there." Tom

It's really too bad as everyone has already pointed out that the people suffering had nothing to do with the wrong doing. It's also too bad that now when a more than capable but always the underdog Oregon State beats up on them as we have in recent years it won't get us in the national headlines and boost our national ranking as much. Oh well, Go Beavs! Tom

I'm just waiting for someone with the stones to have a big twins kit built for the Veyron and throw the kitchen sink at it. Looking at the log style manifold design and individual internal wastegates on each of the four turbochargers I have to believe based on my turbocharging experience that there is quite a bit left on the table just in the turbo package design. Turn up the wick on a Veyron and see if anyone can hang. Tom

I'm not familiar with the fuel system upgrades that go into the TT kits, but is there enough pump and injector available (20-25% more) to allow you guys to run E85 or E98? Second, is E85 available at the pump anywhere nearby? From my experience it has the knock suppression capacity of 110 or better, burns cleaner and is available at the pump here in the NW usually for less than 92 octane. I understand that leaded fuel is more mainstream and available anywhere in drums, but ethanol is an awesome option! Tom

I love it. I also am diggin' that every promo picture you've posted recently is of cars at what I'd consider "proper" ride height Tom

He's a lucky guy to be in the position he is, and more power to him for enjoying his success. He sure could stand to be a little taller though, that seating position is killing his street cred Tom
