  1. I have been told that rebuilt compressors don't last more than a year or two. I suppose it depends on who rebuilt them. A rebuilt from the original manufacturer is probly more reliable. I was told by two shops that a new one is the way to go. Also look for black debris in the two hoses to the compressors. If they are dirty, you need to flush the system or else that can significantly shorten the compressor life too.
  2. Bentayga is about $230k w options. I am going to guess at least $270k and most likely $300k given pricing of Huracan. What a nice looking SUV. But if it is anything similar to Bentayga, it would be still heavy and small inside.
  3. What's the range on the R? I wonder how long it takes to charge it?
  4. For your abs and ESP, you will need to identify which corner abs sensor is failing. This can be done through the Lambo computer.
  5. Agree with what's said above. Customers with a spyder is willing to deal with the manual top and some even prefer it due to weight. These are cars you take out once or twice a month on nice days.
  6. it will be interesting to see how this brand works out. italians, german, japanese, taiwanese and americans have all been branding with success. the exclusivity will need some awesome sound and performance to back it up. then, people will want more -- flame throwing etc. titanium is nice but pricey for 5lbs less than SS.
  7. I wonder who and where are these made.
  8. False. Egear and manual uses same gears
  9. This is the fuse by the footwell?
  10. Looking good Roy! Both you and the CT Thanks for sharing the experience.
  11. damn, you sure make it clear on your position haha... that does sound a hypocritical.
  12. I may have missed it but I don't see muffler. Maybe there was a resonator. The mount is mig welded so it looks less appealing.
  13. Cool didn't think it is out until tmr
  14. Don't trust ur dealer. They often tell u it is due soon when you have 40% left. Get another shop to look at it and do a measurement.
  15. I hope this is a joke. Cmon Lambo!
  16. Wow that is incredibly racist thing to say. I know many Muslims that are smart, hard working and highly educated. To blame terrorism on Muslim as a region or race isn't right. What if I said the same thing about Jews or Christians? I am sure it would be a message of hate and not allowed. I don't think we should blast Muslims but seek to understand and have Muslims denounce acts of terror in public. This would be more constructive I would think.
  17. RS was the most sought after model. Now the focus of the demand is on the R, especially amongst the pca members

Selling with suction mount and cig power cord. STATUS REPORT ON YOUR V1 Serial Number 8613940913 V1 Description: Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8.A-POP2 with Euro Mode. Comment: This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser, but more recent software improvements described below add significantly to capability. Upgrade Recommendation: You already have our best performer on radar and laser, enhanced by crystal-controlled frequency tuning. More recent V1s, however, have additional features. If you drive abroad, you will appreciate our Improved Euro Mode which increases protection on photo radar as it is used in some countries outside the U.S. Extended Serial Protocol (ESP) enables two-way communication with SAVVY and V1connection. You'll also get Traffic Monitor Filter to block false alarms caused by SpeedInfo (www.speedinfo.com), a traffic-flow monitoring system that sends frequent K-band radar bursts into the traffic stream, and Junk-K Fighter to eliminate false alarms caused by lane-change warning systems in some newer cars. Even if you don't drive in an area with SpeedInfo, most V1 users say Junk-K Fighter pays off immediately. View Proposed Upgrade for Your V1
  22. First, are you sure you need new brakes? Stock pads can last well over 50k miles in normal driving condition. Second, you do not need to replace the rotors with pads unless you notice cracks or the rotors are below the min thickness. Most of time, you don't need rotor change until 2-3 sets of pads have been used. Third, the pads are not hard to change. Pretty normal and you can watch YouTube vids on brembo brake jobs to get an idea. It is not much different than a normal 4 piston brembo brake except you have more pads for the 8 piston setup. Lastly, the choice of pads have been discussed many timers. Ebc, hawk, and a number of brands are available for about $150 per axle. if your wear sensor light went off, you will need new ones.
  23. That slot is for the sensor. You do not need to change the rotor. Usually, the rotor is good for at least two sets of pads. For brake fluid, I recommend motul rbf600. You can get higher spec rbf660 but it is overkill unless you track, which I wouldn't not recommend early Murci w stock brakes. I find OEM pads to be the best in most cases. You can look for OEM equivalent to save money.
