You can do a software update on the V1's if you send them in, I believe. I think you can plug the serial number in on their website and it will tell you if you're eligible. The 9500 and V1 usually compare so closely that it's a toss up. The 9500 is a little sleeker and the GPS feature saves a lot of aggravation (especially with X Band falses.) Doppler used by LEO's is all Ka band these days.. and LIDAR.. Low dispersion and target specific, but you can't run it passively like RADAR - the LEO has to be actively engaged. Here in NJ, with both LIDAR and RADAR, he/she has to have a visual, confirmed by tone and finally reading from their equipment (Stalker, MPH Industries etc.) You have plenty of range and sensitivity with either 9500 or V1 IMO.. 186,000 mi/sec is a real bitch, so you're not going to win with Instant-On unless you catch a ping...

I've used "Battery Tender Plus" on all my cars for years. Never a problem. I had an Interstate in my Porsche 930 that lasted 15 years on a Tender... An added bonus is that they seem to prolong battery life. I have pig tails on the G and M. Takes 2 secs to clip on/off... Worth their weight in gold as stated above!

VPD routinely posts pictures of the accused's impounded vehicle on Twitter with a mocking comment similar to the following:? "Lamborghini - $275K. Excessive speeding ticket - $368. Watching your sports car get towed for 7 days - Priceless" Sure seems to fall under the "Let's Make an Example of" column to me...

I looked at that car last year, July '13, when it was with SFSCs.. I had an initial conversation with them and then was never able to get a human on the phone again. Multiple calls, E-mails gone unanswered. I know that it failed multiple PPI's when they were trying to sell it. Price was down to $130K on their site before it was pulled. Glad you and I didn't get stuck with it.. lol. Would NEVER do business with San Francisco Sports Cars... Just my .02. Oh, and best of luck in your continued search - VI, 6 speed was my unicorn...
