  1. Myself as well. John is a great guy.
  2. John at Lambo Dallas is the best. Highly recommend him.
  3. Been to Bordeaux twice. I would suggest staying in St. Emilion for a few days and then move over and stay in Bordeaux proper. Stay here in St. Emilion: http://www.hostellerie-plaisance.com/uk/navigation.htm Stay here in Bordeaux: http://www.ghbordeaux.com/uk/index.php Sort through some chateaus you might like to see in both regions, St. Emilion and Pomerol on the right bank (around the town of St. Emilion) and Pauillac, St. Julien, Margaux, St. Estephe, etc. on the left bank (Bordeaux). Start emailing/calling and setting up tasting appointments direct with the Chateau and try to schedule things in order on a map. Most of the chateaus you will want to see on the left bank are all located off the D2 and you can hit them in sequential order.
  4. Have bought 2 Lambos from Hrad. Great guys.
  5. I must say I am not a big fan of Balvanie. It is a bit too hot for my taste. I must say, McCallan seems to be a preferred go to for me, take your pick of vintage. I can point you to more specific single malt vintage stuff but for the bang for the buck, it is hard to stray too far from McCallan. I have had through their 30 year and it is just difficult to point you to any others for daily drinkers.
  6. Try LamboDallas, they should be able to source one.
  7. There was a 2004 silver G running around town here for a while that had some rear end damage. I remember seeing one going down Central Expressway with most of the rear end missing one day. I know the guy who had it, but could not tell you if this was it or not. Would be worth asking the question if it had any previous rear damage.

  9. Tony has left, call John Hrad there and he will point you in the right direction.
  10. Have purchased 2 through them, top notch guys, great reputation, nice as they come.
  11. Jacking from the side to pull a rear wheel can cause the front windshield to break. Always use the crossbar in the back in front of the transmission.
  12. Let it warm up for about 15 minutes or so running and then try.
  13. Mine started to fail around 8,000 miles. Seemed to be worse in cold weather but would correct itself when things warmed up. Was very intermittent.
  14. Had the same problem on my 04. EGear pump will likely need to be replaced.
  15. Asking for trouble if you leave the lift up from shock leakage.

Here are a few I am partial to. Some are fairly hard to find but well worth it. 1988 Salon (very different, almost hay-like) Deutz Blanc de Blanc (any vintage) Selosse Substance (very hard to find here but made like Krug) Laurent Perrier Ultra Brut (like drinking a dry grapefruit) Billecart-Salmon varietals, Millesime or the rose' I hate seeing people default to Dom and Crystal. There are so many better choices out there. Brad
  17. I went from an 04 (new) to an 09 560. Passed on all the minor iterations in between and was glad I did. The 560 is substantially more car.
