Agree on all points. The important factor here is wether police brutality really is not a rampant problem in the US. The media, as you said, is surely portaying it that way(also here in the eu) but I can´t judge that in an educated way, you´re better at this as a native. However, if it is than the only solution to uneducated and destitute people is to burn things down and honestly, sometimes it is needed(democraties always rise from the ashes). Of course this could all be media and political play as you´ve pointed out(I can´t judge that), and in that case my point is irrelevant. However, when I´m reading that the people who filmed the last few incidents(michael brown and the others) and their families are being harressed and detained by the police for dubios reasoning than I start to wonder.

Reading through different boards of people with completely different social backgrounds(Lambo Power obviously being upper social class) is strange. Everyone jumps to the side of the story which benefits them the most with very little regards to the thoughts and lifes of the people on the other end of the spectrum. I think it could go a long way to try to walk in someone elses shoes and I mean both sides with that. However, I kinda expected more educated comments on this board and less bandwagoning.

Having talked to a few who live there/close to the region, that is actually true. Of course, both sides want to largen their scope of influence. The US is tightening it´s grip around the russian region and pressuring it since forever. The russians answer accordingly. It´s all just a geopolitical chess game. However, I am rather surprised that alot of people contrubuting to this thread are thinking so one sided. Afterall, most here are intelligent, accomplished businessmen and human beings. we should all know what´s really going here. True, but the US hasn´t exactly been siting still either. I don´t buy alwaleeds argument, he surely has the same agenda as the Saudi(well he is one).
