But PLEASE ... UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYTHING YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ INDICATES A RACE CAR.....IT IS NOT!!!Altho, by all respects, it certainly could be. I can tell you that the person that was basically "given" this car is not someone you are not likely to ever meet , let alone shake hands with. The "WHY" of how this car came to be is very personal and has to do with my health. I did what I did because it was part of my "BUCKET LIST". This ad could EASILY take up 7 pages if I were to go into specific detail concerning the "WHYS", but lets leave it at after almost 4 tours as a private contractor in Iraq/Afghanistan, 2 specific illnesses have come back to , lets say bite me in the a...s. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why I have a bucket list. It has always been my dream to OWN a car with 500 rwhp. In life, my profession was as a commercial pilot. I raced AMA and WERA and had a very short stint as a test driver with a GP2 and F-2 teams. My bike racing spanned 2 decades but the FORMULA2 and GP2 were barely 2 seasons. I spent more time in the "sim" than most people have behind an actual steering wheel of a car. Theres not a track in the European world that I don't know every apex, entry, exit, bump and 'OH SH..T" part of the track! They make you know it until you can do it blindfolded. That's why in F1, drivers will go into a "blind" corner @ over 220kph, because they KNOW the track. but enough of that. all of that just flows into why I wanted to know what it felt like to own and drive a car that was just "S E M I" close to the HP and handling, altho we all know , NO street legal CORVETTE has anywhere NEAR the downforce a F1 car has, or the HP, let alone even a F2 car. Which finally leads us to the specifics of the most powerful"sleeper" in I think... the country. My car is a 2006 C-6 Z-51Convertible that has EVERY SINGLE OPTION that a Z-06 has plus a few a Z-06 does not have. from front 2 back.......K AND N MASS AIR , HIGH PERFORMANCE FRONT COVER SEAL, THE MOST PERFECTLY MATCHED HIGH PERFORMANCE CAM MONEY CAN BUY, LEVEL 3LSA W/ A 227/235 114 CENTER LINE, .660 LIFT PLATINUM DUAL SPRING KIT,HIGH FLOW CATS, HP TR6 V-POWER PLUGS, UNDERDRIVE PULEYS WITH HARMONIC BALANCER, HP REDLINE MANUAL TANS FLUID , ALL NEW MOTOR MOUNTS, NEW SERPINTINE BELTS(BOTH)W/UNDERDRIVE HARMONICS , THE HEADS WERE ALRERADY DONE BY LIEGENFELTER PER TRUCK SERIES SPECS, ANOTHER WRDS, THEY CANT PRODUCE 1 MORE SINGLE HP AS THEY ARE BUILT TO THE SAFEST LIMITS FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE FOR MAX HORSEPOWER. Remember, this was a TEST motor for the n....r truck series east/west division series. not an actual motor that would be installed in a truck for racing purposes. this was a TEST to see if "LS-2" CRATE MOTORS could produce the needed horsepower for the Chevy Trucks. and yes, to my knowledge, they were successful. this motor, was put back into my CORVETTE, minus racing headers, a completely different throttle body and a few other top secret goodies. The car was then shipped back to the factory and put on display in the Specialty CORVETTE museum, not for sale AT ALL! Because of the close relationship between this team owner and the big wigs at a major American manufacturer(I Don't want to be sued) he was given the car at a special presentation. he then "sold" it to a very close friend. he and I have crossed paths a cpl times at tracks around the world as he is a titanium specialist engineer. he knew thru channels I was selling my C-5 and called me to see if I was interested in buying it. I DID. I didn't do to much to it at the time as it had 526bhp already. After my medical diagnosis, I decided to build it to its max potential. normally aspirated of course. ive already told you what my engine build consists of, however, there are quite a few brand new goodies to list. My CORVETTE HAS a FULL RACE COLD ROTORS DOUBLE FULL DUCTING SYSTEM, along with brand new upgraded Z-51 Rotors w/carbon fiber race pads. New Bilstein shocks and brand new specially ordered PROXES DOUBLE "R" Z plus tires.and the very rare 3LT pkg. theres nothing that isn't brand new, battery, rear light bulbs, front zenon bulbs, all interior inside bulbs, you name it, its been replaced. This CORVETTE is the most pristine, fastest, best handling, super superior stopping power of any sports car out there. My biggest challenge to date was a 2013 FERARRI 458 ITALIA. ....he lost. please don't ask the mileage as with 95% of the cars entire parts are brand new, mileage doesn't matter. but youll ask anyway, she just turned 75k. the price is non - neg. 39999sure, its way above book, but then again, you would have to spend 3 times that amount to get the performance, handling, horsepower and value. not to mention shes a third as expensive to insure than a 2013 and up Z-06. Because that's what you would have to buy to come anywhere near what this car will do. she has 25 more ponies to the rear wheels than a Plastic mess-06.
