Heffner Performance Report post Posted September 19, 2008 Here is some information on the Heffner Twin Turbo Ford GT that ran 222.06 mph in the Texas mile on a very flat 0.65% decline 1 foot Rollout on this run accounted for 0.24 seconds. Nearly all magazines have the rollout enabled when doing their tests. The first 3 shifts were 0.2 seconds, the last one was 0.29 seconds, very impressive. here is the breakdown of the 0-200 mph part of the run: speed W/O RO W/ RO 0 - 10 0.62 0.38 0 - 20 1.23 0.99 0 - 30 2.01 1.77 0 - 40 2.72 2.48 0 - 50 3.29 3.05 0 - 60 3.75 3.51 0 - 70 4.43 4.19 0 - 80 4.93 4.69 0 - 90 5.42 5.18 0 - 100 5.97 5.73 0 - 110 6.83 6.59 0 - 120 7.53 7.29 0 - 130 8.3 8.06 0 - 140 9.41 9.17 0 - 150 10.41 10.17 0 - 160 11.5 11.26 0 - 170 12.72 12.48 0 - 180 14.07 13.83 0 - 190 16.39 16.15 0 - 200 18.38 18.14 60-130mph was 4.55 seconds on a 0.7% decline 60-100mph was 2.22 seconds without rollout quarter mile was 10.77 @ 153.36 mph with rollout quarter mile was 10.53 @ 153.36 mph I have attached several graphs down below. One of the 60-130mph, one of the standing mile, one of 0-200 without rollout, and one with 0-200 with rollout. Aaron Thanks for deciphering that Aaron. So what you're saying is that the TT FGT's are prety fast?

VBUGKING Report post Posted November 23, 2008 Great job Limey, your car is very fast, and I commend you for all the work you have put into it. Thanks for posting your Vbox times as well, your car has officially beat all my Lp640 and SLR Vbox times. A link to my new thread about taking my 997TT tip to the dragstrip with Vbox in the car as well for comparison. http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?...c=36598&hl= Aaron
VBUGKING Report post Posted November 23, 2008 Limey I got your DBN files. Looks to me like you turned off the 1 foot rollout option. You should turn that back on when doing quarter mile runs (or any run from a stop). Factoring that in, your 11.1 was actually a 10.91 @ 133.01 and your 11.6 was actually a 10.82@ 134.76. I dont know what you were doing on your launch on that 134.76 run, but it took you about .9 seconds to go 12 inches. You must have been spinning without moving? I am not sure how the dragstrip would have timed that run. Your 60-130mph was 6.97, and all your runs were done on a perfectly flat road. Great job, your car is a rocket, and you sure know how to drive it. Below are the graphs of the runs. Aaron

Aaron Fantastic, thanks for taking the time to figure this out, 10.8 @ 135 MPH is brilliant. one thing that really amazes me is that the TT FGT that Heffner built and runs 60-130 in 4.55 seconds would be 400 + feet in front of my car on the same run! 20 + cars in front! That TT FGT rides the ^&%(%%& out. Always someone faster!

87-Countach Report post Posted March 16, 2009 Does the V-Box get its power from batteries, or from the lighter outlet? I was thinking about running the Countach on it just for some old school shits and grins, but the lighter outlet doesn't hold any of the adapter plugs tight enough to make a good contact. I'd have to hold the plug in the socket and drive at the same time. I'm not that coordinated.

RBD Report post Posted April 30, 2009 New record today for me in the TTG on pump gas (760rwhp). I botched the launch big time, but still pulled off my best 0-60mph and 0-100mph run yet. Temp was 68 degrees and very sunny today, compared to 62 degrees and cloudy on my previous best run. 0-60' 02.2 sec 34.6 mph 0-10mph .48 sec 0-20 1.28 0-30 1.79 0-40 2.45 0-50 2.95 0-60 3.48 0-70 4.07 0-80 4.99 0-90 5.71 0-100 6.48 Max G of acceleration in run .966 G Average G of acceleration throughout run, .648 G total distance of run 504.260 feet compared to my old best run down below 0-60' 01.9 sec 34.8 mph 0-10 0.32 seconds 0-20 0.97 0-30 1.51 0-40 2.51 0-50 3.01 0-60 3.54 0-70 4.16 0-80 5.14 0-90 5.85 0-100 6.71 Max G of acceleration in run .966 G Average G of acceleration throughout run, .638 G total distance of run 539.410 feet Considering a .3 difference in 60ft time between the 2 runs, there is still room for improvement. There was a huge improvement this time in the 30-100mph (sort of after the launch). 4.69 sec this time compared to 5.2 seconds last time, see graph below. Neither here or there but you have some awesome cars. Very jealous.
