rovingtravler Report post Posted November 30, 2011 In the 90s Korean had the worst i.e. most deaths per driver of any nation that kept records... they topped the list for 10 years. I lived there for 3 years and this kind of driving is normal for everyone! I have seen buses 90 degrees to traffic because they missed their exit. I have seen taxis regular cars, buses, back up on highwways to make a turn... and that is in traffic on the road not in the breakdown (passing) lane. I was hit 9 times in 3 years and 3 of thoses totaled my sonatas (2 of them) and 1 Rio. I finally made it out of there on my 4th car!
