This is def an interesting thing. I know someone who had a sex change from man to woman. As they say, it's easier to dig a hole than build a pole. I don't understand why they did it. But I also don't care that they did. Great person. Doesn't affect me.

 

Here is the problem. We are letting people lie about the truth. A transgender can change their sex on their drivers license after living as the new sex and name for 1 year, and seeing a counciler for a year.

 

With ID: can I say I have brown eyes, even though they are blue? When I buy a gun, can I identify as an African American, though I'm as white as a polar bear? I'm assuming I can now.

 

In addition:

 

Sex is a built in drive, right below eating. My personal opinion is that a disfunction of sex is the result of more severe problems. And yes, we shouldn't have these people as daycare workers and such.

 

This reminds me of a friend from college who's was gay. He became a priest because he thought it would keep him from "sinning". This is a common practice, and though the Catholics won't like this, I think it is a reason for so many priests molesting boys. They are only human and their sexual tendencies will come out. The Left say federal law is supreme when it is something they like, but when it is something they don't like, they claim states rights. For example, on gun rights, the left-leaning states and cities continually infringe on people's rights. On immigration, the states and cities refuse to enforce federal law. However, when Arizona created its own version of the federal immigration law because President Obama was refusing to enforce it, the Supreme Court struck it down saying that they can't do that because immigration is a federal issue.

 

Right now in Connecticut, if you get caught with a semiautomatic rifle with a banned feature, such as the ability to adjust the length of the stock or a pistol grip, that you are an otherwise law-abiding (and likely tax-paying) citizen means nothing. You are in violation of a stupid law, so they will arrest you, charge you with a felony, and ruin your life. But if you are an illegal immigrant in the state, the governor has ordered nothing to be done. Really kind of Twilight Zone.

The news has become a cesspool. For example, google "radiation spike over Europe." Then read the different articles essentially throwing shit at the wall in order to make a headline from Russia testing nuclear bombs ahead of WWIII with Trump, right down to, "its nothing." The problem with the "fake news" is that so many media outlets no longer provide strictly factual non partisan stories. CNN ran a fcuking story about Trump having hookers piss on obamas bed. As a media outlet, you have to be above the petty political games if you want to be taken seriously. But so many media outlets cant get past their own partisan political affiliations and because of that, they have severly damaged their credibility. Anymore you see a news article, and you have to research the shit out of it to get all the sides, then make your own decisions on what is the truth in the story. The news was never meant to be that way. I think Trump is taking it a little far, but I don't think he is completely wrong either. I think its a dangerous game to essentially wage war against the press, but their bullshit has to stop. Putting hit piece after hit piece about the president out will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to solve the issues we have here....
