VCR Report post Posted November 20, 2016 Nothing makes you feel more like a dictator than this. Very cool, although I heard that there aren't too many techs left who truly know how to service/repair these cars and all of them are in retirement. VCR Report post Posted November 21, 2016 Check out the rest of the stock on their website. The colour of the white Veyron that they are selling is called Bianco Lamborghini?!

Exactly. Hydraulic windows and thoroughly over engineered german ingenuity. Plus parts availability is a serious problem. Cool ass car though

looney Report post Posted November 22, 2016 Plus parts availability is a serious problem. That is actually not true. Mercedes Benz will supply spare parts for any car they have ever made through their specialist spare parts section. I'm sure it's not cheap, but it's nice to know if you want an air vent from a 1950's anything they can supply it.

Absolutely true, but the down time and extraordinary cost for said part is what I was referring to. Obviously a car like the one above would not be a daily driver but waiting for parts for months on end would be a prohibiting factor for me personally

kinnsella Report post Posted November 29, 2016 Isn't there a rule somewhere, you can't become a third world dictator without owning a 600? The list of awful people who have owned one is a mile long. Cool car though.

VCR Report post Posted November 29, 2016 I actually had an opportunity to buy a fixed-top one about 7 years ago but turned it down for 3 reasons: -- it was a right-hand-driven car -- there was no way I can find the right tech to maintain the car properly -- the ultimate deal breaker: in no way whatsoever should I drive the car myself, one absolutely needs a chauffeur to look right in this car
