    Flight 9525

This is spot on. But of course I grew up when pool fences and bicycle helmets were unheard of. I was spanked when I did really bad stuff. Other people made fun of things that should be made fun of. I listened intently and orderly to the man with a badge and a gun. The list goes on and on. Oddly enough, with all that stacked against me, I turned out ok.
  3. In all my ads I write "principle inquiries only. No brokers, ad agencies, or listing services" When those types do call, I interrupt them an ask "Do you have a lack of respect or lack of intelligence?" They will usually stop and ask what I mean. I then respond with "Either you read my request and chose to ignore it or you don't understand what it means. So which is it?" CLICK....
  4. Maybe that purple snot rocket was the main culprit? We are crossing our fingers for you.

    Road Rage

Many years ago I was on the receiving end of a pissed off bicyclist. For some strange reason he thought that traffic laws did not apply to him and some how everything was my fault. At the time I was in my hopped up '67 Camaro and I had a fire extinguisher onboard. I calmy waited for him to approach my window. When he looked down and saw it in my lap pointed at his face, his reaction was priceless! He went from "I'm going to kick your ass" to "I just wanted to apologize" Probably one of the very few road rage stories that ended up funny and OK.

Not soft, smart! The obvious response form people that will comment is that he might have tried to hurt you. But how about the opposite? What if he got out and you "ass whooped" him so bad that it caused major damage?
  7. I had Protection 1 for a few years. When I sold my house and cancelled my service (my manditory obligation was long over) they still continued to try and bill me. I sent them copies of email correspondence where they confirmed my service was properly cancelled. They threatend me with sending the account to collections. It took several weeks of communication before they finally backed off. It was several years ago, but I highly recommend NOT using them. I believe they are ADT now.
  8. Disclaimer, I am not a Vet.... But I found this when you described an eye issue and no appetite
  9. Seriously though, Why not have a few different styles made up. You could hand out the style that best fits the circumstance at that moment.
  10. Have it read.... "I'll be your Huckleberry" 'Nuff said
  11. Here is the "how to build a replicrap" instruction book. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Fifteen-Dollar...D-/300960609598
  12. We could do some sort of "Top Gear" competition with them. How many people can you fool, Chick magnet, Getting from point a -b, Cheapest budget, Most over the top LED lights, Facebook likes, Best use of duct tape, Over the top spoiler award, The sky is the limit with this.
  13. Agreed. The article called them pedestrians. They were spectators of an illegal race.
  14. Offer to split the rent with someone who already has a small private plane in hangar.
  15. Ugh. Put a big enough engine in a Yugo and it will run 10's in the 1/4. So what. I would like to take a moment to express a concern of 2 700hp cars racing on a crowded highway. Not cool.
  16. Can implants be an alternative for crowding up front (mostly the bottom front 4)? Braces for a year or two has always kept me from moving forward with a better smile.
  17. Those "pro mod" alcohol guys love the crazy bodies. It is a standard funny car frame with huge displacement engine. Some are over 720 cubic inches (close to 12 liters) and make over 2,000 hp running on alcohol instead of nitromethane. They do everything from 57 chevys to hearses.
  18. Finally an appropriate use of a kit car.
  19. Here is how you make someone worry. "I don't want you to worry, but......" Hopefully everyone is ok.
  20. I started mowing a few of the neighbors lawns at 13 years old. By the time I was almost 15 I had saved enough $$ to buy one of these. I still had a year to fix it up before I earned my license. I sill think it was a cool car for 1986. Not to mention I paid for it with my own money.
  21. Classic "Yello" song with modern Lambo! To jog your memory, "Yello" did the OH YEAH! song from Ferris Bueller's day off.
  22. I'm going to go rent a Toyota YYAAAARRRRIIIIIIIISSSSSS for the day.
  23. In so many ways it feels long ago, and in other ways it feels like yesterday. I still feel like I was punched in the stomach by a heavy weight boxer. Stay strong and stay the course my brothers.
  24. People are motivated by different things. A simple quote, a great seminar, fantastic book, recognition, birth of a child, close call with the grim reaper, you name it. What works for one, may not have an affect on another. Anything that brings out the best in a person and they can sustain that momentum is money, time , or effort well spent.
