  1. She looks good. I'd eat her up too. (from other end)
  2. Looks like it was a fun day. I'm sorry I missed it. I had reserved a spot and paid for it, but I got back from La Paz on Saturday night and couldn't get my ass out of bed on Sunday morning.
  3. Well he's lucky he was wearing his track suit. lol
  4. My 06 had a bit over 50% clutch at 15K miles. The e-gear in an 06 is very good. Never had a problem with it. Also 06 is the only year that you can disconnect the solenoid for the muffler in total impunity, no CELs whatsoever.
  5. Definitely one of the best shows on TV right now. If you have Netflix, you can also download the show directly to your computer as soon as it airs on Starz
  6. The rear view mirror is visible from behind the car, and cop would surely see it at night when he lights you up.
  7. This guy is a safety hazard. How could you evacuate the plane with this guy's butt clogging the aisle? The FAA needs to intervene and do something before a disaster occurs
  8. My main concern is really Laser protection as I have not seen or heard of anyone getting a radar ticket in the Los Angeles area for quite a while now. I have installed in the Lambo a K40 with three laser defusers in the front and one in the back, for a total of four. (yeah, I know, but I'm a paranoid with a lead foot) According to my installer that is the most "stealth" car he has ever seen. K40s come with one in the front and one in the back usually. Now it's time to upgrade the Porsche's protection system too. I had a Passport SRX installed in it since 2000, but I want to upgrade to the latest tech to keep up with the Joneses (Glendale PD, mainly) so should I go another K40 quad at close to $3k or should I try the new Passport 9500ci? with 2 "shifters" on the front and one in the back for $2K? The Passport also has a GPS component to it that will alert you of red light and fixed speed cameras. Please do not tell me about V1 as I am not really concerned about radar and the V1 does not jam laser, nor is as stealthy to install as those 2. Anyone has any personal experience about the superiority of either system?
  9. BTW what do LM002s go for these days?
  10. Nice truck! P.S. could we get that man a multi-lambo owner title?
  11. I was taught to left foot brake while taking a course for the "pit maneuver" and yes it taked getting used to to properly modulate the pressure, so I try to do it as often as possible and it really come in handy on the track while trail braking and allows you to get on the power sooner. As for heal and toe, yes I do it around town as well. Practice.
  12. Not at all. I'm afraid that it is you who do not understand. Let me use your own example of the soldier to explain: A soldier enlisting and choosing not to wear his helmet and body armor will improve the pool (in this case the platoon he serves in) by dying early. A soldier has to rely on the soldier next to him to cover his area and pull his weight. By not wearing his protective gear, he is a weak link in a chain that would cause the whole chain to fail, hence by his death, the chain is strenghtened when he is replaced on the firing line by a more competant and armored soldier. He died, and the platoon is now stronger.
  13. I'm very sorry for the 4 that died, but that's wat's called "natural selection" or "survival of the fittest" She's dumb enough do drive drunk and get in a crash, yes. But the one in the truck would have survived had they been wearing their seatbelts. The truck doesn't look too badly smashed up in the picture, there doesn't seem to be "cabin intrusion" and it didn't flip (no marks on the roof) so the occupants died from the sudden deceleration of the crash. If they habitually didn't wear seatbelts, then this was not just 1 tragedy waiting to happen, but 2.
  14. Zero problems in 3 years of ownership, just changed oil and tires
  15. Alonso may be a lot of things, but one of these things is an amazing driver. His level of car control is second to none. Given a descent car, I think he will be the World Champion again. He is IMO the best driver amongst them.
