  1. English garden design really interests me. In England we grow flowers and have grass in a garden, anything you would eat is typically grown in a field.
  2. I like it also but would have preferred a little less yellow, center tunnel could have been black?
  3. Never really thought of this before (not studied a drawing as shown in this thread) but if you have an aftermarket muffler and 2nd cat delete on a 640 unless you keep the valves shut all the time the path of least resistance would seem to be straight from the valves to the exhaust tip? In essence when valves are open you might as well not have an aftermarket muffler? I'm sure the above is incorrect as my LOC exhaust made a difference from when I had stock muffler with valves open.

  5. It will happen, just might take a bit longer than most. I am sure that the market will continue to want N/A the same way it wants manual gear change. It will all depend on what the majority want though. If to comply with regs and compete with other makers Lambo finds it better to boost then it will eventually fold and boost. Not a bad thing in my view, if you want old school buy used from that era, if you want up to date buy new.
  6. I'm with you, mine was a "20 year overnight success" with the first 10 years not very lucrative. People on these boards or at car shows etc ask what you do for a living thinking this must be the key to success and wealth when in reality its not what you do rather its what you do with it.

    Deadpool

Saw it last night, it is a must see and very funny, Stan Lee in a strip club? Just make sure you understand that it contains some pretty graphic violence.
  8. Just a friendly reply, I tried to open the link and my virus protection kicked in stopping me, might be safe but thought I would let people know.
  9. [aDocScan__15_.pdf Sorry about the crappy scans but hope this helps you, It is from an lp640 book but probably the same for all mercielago? DocScan__12_.pdf DocScan__13_.pdf DocScan__14_.pdf
  10. Must be a real PITA to change the front fenders as I think they are glued on? It even looks to have an SV steering wheel, not raining on any ones parade but I would have thought for the cost you could have purchased a real SV. It is a looker though.
  11. It was stupid but, I watched it all and enjoyed it all, am I stupid also?
  12. If this is the one I saw some years ago in a body shop, (that one I think was Balloon White and being painted matt black) it was having the SV parts put on as it had been in an accident. The body shop in Charlotte told me it came from TX I think someone on this board said the Carfax was clean but as we know cash is king when it comes to Carfax not showing a repair. I still don't know for sure if we are looking at the same car but it may well be.
  13. A launch is different than a static car revving its nuts off, as soon as you start moving air flow will remove any vapor build up that may ignite
  14. Saw them about 2 years ago, they were great. RIP to all who give us entertainment and leave too soon.
  15. Cant remember what car it was, I know it was a normal DD but I seem to recall that you could not rev the engine very high if the car was in neutral. I'm not much for this type of electronic nanny but it might save a few cars in cases like this.
  16. I saw that entry and assumed it was the a/c blower motor.
  17. I am sure that you can roll back the mileage on the clock but I thought that the ecu stored the mileage as a non delete able/change able memory?
  18. What is in that left rear area that could catch fire like that?
  19. This from the article " The power is transmitted to the Pirelli PZero rubber through a six-speed manual, but VLF says it will fit it with an automatic at the customer's request." Either man or auto so the shift lever is redundant anyway.
  20. OK I understand that I am going to sound like your Grandfather but I have had a life of loud machines loud motorcycles loud cars and loud music. I love loud things. Please look after your ears around loud things, I have some hearing loss and tinnitus (high pitched ringing in ears 24 hrs per day) from my loud life. I use ear plugs when ever things get loud now but wish I did 30 years ago. Rant over rev on.
  21. I think unless you can say "I could write the check to cover the purchase cost but would rather finance" you probably can't afford the (luxury toy) car.
  22. When the Murci was designed probably mid to late 90s LED technology was pretty much in its infancy.
  23. Think I saw this car in a body shop in Charlotte a few years ago, they told me it was from Texas and had UGR TT, It was in pieces and was having the SV body kit put on.
