  1. when a car has to grow on you, then you really don't like it. the cars that you really love make you weak in the knees the moment you lay eyes on them.
  2. nice car andrew and very clean custom work. enjoy it.
  3. That car is the NUTS............
  4. only one expansion tank on pass side. that's where you see if the level is correct. all these suggestions are good but still sounds like sticky thermastat imo.
  5. 79 yrs young. Benny had a Flawless Daytona Coupe. he spent $175K just on the Restoration. he needed to make some room in the garage for the incoming (4) 360's he bought so he sold it to my buddy for $175K.
  6. Benny was a very special person. we used to race each other and he was a tough guy to pass (on the straights) with all the horsepower he brought to the tracks (regular F40, F40LM, F40 GTE, 333sp,1st Pagani, FXX, ect). i used to say to myself, who has it better than Benny at his age enjoying all his cars on track. Benny once told me of a trip to Geveva show where they first unveiled the Enzo. he had seen a Black one, red one & Yellow Enzo. Ferraris staff asked him which color he liked best? he said "i'll take all three".... and he did. wonderful insightful guy who's presence will be missed. RIP my friend.
  7. not a mulliner, no diamond stich pattern on seats.
  8. my 6.0 did that quite a bit here in fla. some thermatstats do not open all they way as they get older. PM me if you need a thermastat as i have a NEW one w/ gasket.
  9. Boca Raton, i have a beach townhome for sale on Lake Boca with Boat slip and direct (3 minute) access to Ocean. Boca is a great location, inbetween Palm Beach & Ft Lauderdale / Miami. PM me if your interested.
  10. i agree the FICO is a scam. i was told that with credit cards, pay them down to zero, and do not use them (but don't close them).
  11. best way to work with keith is have him surprise you. never dissapoints.............
  12. Roy, i hope you really didn't pay thousands for the "lambo" (Scroth) harness set. those are standard Scroth Racing harness set with Lambo patches. cost about $350 set w/o patches. all racing harness are required to be dated for use by santioning bodies.
  13. they said he now goes into witness protection. expected sentence to be 40 years but if he cooperates and makes cases for the gov't, he may get out in 15years.
  14. will the car have silver wheels or black?
  15. i believe it's blue ely. i saw this car over a year ago at Champion and up close it showed it's mileage which was 26k at the time.
  16. i think that was a Burtoni car. the wing is not correct and looks like it's from an early (91) diablo.
  17. Charlie, it would seem to me that cover plates (2) need be fabricated to seal the area where the half shafts connect to the front Diff and also on the wheel side of the axle shafts. i looked at my 6.0 in contemplation of doing it, and coverplates seemed logical. it would also seem logical to seal off the drive shaft receptor IF once removing the shaft exposes internals to elements.
  18. the guy in the red SR3 (4 cyl) really knows how to pedal the car around catching the V8 in every corner. those cars defy belief with the grip levels and performance. if you guys ever want to test them in so fla, let me know, i have a fleet at PBIR.
  19. my friend in fla bought one of those SR22, he took me up and let me take the stick and fly it. it was the sportscar (Lambo) of airplanes. Really nice to fly. the unique feature is it has a parachute built into the fuselage (deploys by rocket charge thru composite) for catastrophic failure. well, his plan was due for his annual and ran fine. he tookl it to the authorized Cirrus dealer for the service. when he picked it up, he got to 800 feet and ALL ELECTRONICS SHUTDOWN. he looked up at the red chute handle and said " this is what i have insurance for. the plane made a soft landing (in a tree) in public park. he never replaced the plane. i don't know what the GTS is but the newer ones are turbo. deice option feature on the wing leading edges would be important if you ever get in bad weather.
  20. BMW, next time your in Fla, try driving a Radical. The New SR8 LM has a Powertec 2.8L V8 putting out 460bhp in a 1350# chassis. the LM turns 1:57's or less at sebring!! Virtually P2 performance with maintainence costs that i presume are a fraction of what you spend on the Riley. if you want more thrills, there is a new tuned version 3.4L V8 (available on special commission) with twin GSXR K8 cyl heads putting out 560bhp. Radical East is trackside at PBIR.
  21. So.............................. Nice car
  22. 62 porsche 356B T6 D'iterian twin grill roadster / super 90
