  1. From what your telling us, I wouldn't go for both.
  2. A friend of mine from college actually showed me information leaked of both the boy's address and contact number. I wonder why people even bother doing this..
  3. I hope nothing happens to the victim and his parents should at least have the decency place him into another school. I was in the same situation during high school many years ago (where a mob surrounded me and this one bully made racial slurs and threw punches/knocking me about), I stood up to the kid by punching him in the face before teachers came to investigate what's going on. Couple days later, I was walking home from school and got attacked by the group with baseball bats, came home blooded and bruised. School didn't do anything, nor did the police. Kids will always be kids.
  4. Question was posted 2 years ago, maybe the person already bought this house and BMW from listening to that goose
  5. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qi...21072112AAcJzR7 Some guy from the army made a post 2 years ago about looking to purchase a Gallardo. His best response? === well, here is everything that i can think of... im sure you have already factored in gas and basic maintenance such as oil changes, etc. registration varies by state, so you should check with RI to find out. insurance is going to be pretty high, since you are 25 years old (and assuming you are single). parking tickets do not matter much as they are not moving violations. the tickets on your record that you need to worry about are the moving violations such as speeding, etc (those tickets that you get when an officer actually pulls you over). here is one thing that i bet you have NOT thought of.... every 10,000 miles, you need to have the car tuned by Lamborghini...which is in...wait for it...ITALY. you need to ship the car to them (at your expense) which will be a minimum of $15,000 for a round trip ride for your car, and does not include the cost of the actual tune up. most lamborghini owners will purchase a car NEW and drive it for about 9,000 miles then SELL IT. this is because they are not willing to... 1) pay to have the car shipped and tuned and 2) not willing to be without the car for a month while it gets tuned and 3) they can afford to do this (as they usually have a high income that allows them to do this, as opposed to saving up to do it) another expense you should look into is storing the car during the winter, and the expense of another car for your winter driving needs, the insurance, etc. also, do you have your own home? or do you live at home with your parents? or are you going to rent a place when you get back to the good ol' USA? are you going to park this car on the street? my advice is to buy a house with that money. with a house paid in full - or close to it, since you would technically use that money to pay down like 80 - 90% of a house, instead of paying off a lambo in full - you can save up for a nice car such as a BMW or something. trust me, just because you have the money does NOT mean you can afford it. go ask suze orman hahah if i can think of other things, i will edit this post... ==== Is this bullshit?
  6. kinnsella, your house is sexy.
  7. Just a quick question, from an 'investors' point of view new homes tend to depreciate whilst land tends to appreciate. Have any your homes you have built actually appreciated? By that I mean e.g. Market rate land value: 700k Construction costs: 500k (is profit from construction higher?) Total cost is: 1.2M Do you profit more on the house construction costs even though you have lived it in for couple of years? People I know have lost money on new homes after selling couple years later or broke even, but is it a whole different ball game in the wealthier suburbs?
  8. Pain pills? I'm too lazy to wiki this but what are the effects? Are they supposed to be addictive?
  9. Thanks Stevecerr. Was there a time where you made big losses in business? Or was wealth slowly incremented?
  10. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy luxury's on what I need not want (holiday once a year, fine dinning), but not on a regular basis. If I was making 100k a month income, you'd be sure as well I'd be riding in a lambo and a waterfront mansion somewhere quiet. Maybe I'm just thinking of the future too much, work and save hard now, invest in bigger opportunities in the future? I aim on having enough money to generate enough passive income for early retirement. Being forced to work many hours and having insecurity thoughts of losing all your assets if your income drops, I just couldn't live with that. I'm currently 20, own a few e-businesses generating income & a real estate investment property. Some of my friends who are my age who earn less than me possesses 5k watches, 60k refinanced car, $300 - $500 on a night out etc... I don't see the logic's in buying a 2k LV bag when it takes you at least 2 months to save if you are required to heavily reduce other expenses such as food, rent. Sure their not cheapskapes, but what else could this money have been used for? College? their own real estate property? A few members here maybe already be set with well off parents. I never had this opportunity as my parents are middle-upper class not upper-class. While others may have had the privilege to earn hard and spend hard. I love reading success stories (especially rags to riches), anyone here mind to contribute? lol
  11. Everyone has a different perception on money. For me, I enjoy building money and thinking of ideas/business that can increase cash flow, I'm not really sociable (more family based), don't really spend/need much money or require much freedom and prefer a simple life with those closest around me. Whilst others who are more social based middle-class mediocrity individuals who spend their money on friends, designer clothes, holidays, cars which makes it harder for them to get wealthy. It's funny how some people say, "When you were born, you came to the world with nothing. When you die, you cannot take anything with you, therefore spend it while you can". I find these people tend to 'longer' with financial problems. A friend of mine told me when her dad (who was a successful businessman who worked 70 hours a week for 10 years) was on his death bed (unexpected terminal cancer in his 30s) final realizing how long he spent chasing money, how never got to spend it and how he wished he had spent more time with his daughters. It's really sad seeing some men who want the best for their family, believe it is all financial by dedicating basically all of their time and efforts making money.
  12. Gasman, that is one sexy notebook. What are the specs on that?
  13. Judging from the pics, looks like your stable is full. Which car sleeps outside? or is there actually more room in there?

  21. I seriously would not be anymore happier with a 70M home compared to a 35M home. Anything over 10M is great.
