  1. How did they do at the event?
  2. I just bought a set of Bosch Icon 26 for my 08 Gallardo. They are not identical but very close. $26 vs $125.
  3. OK, I'm an idiot. It finally arrived. Took 3 hours this time.
  4. Just lost $577 in Etherium attempting to transfer to Binance. Only a small fraction arrived. Anyone else?
  5. That does make sense in regards to manufacturing the large panels. I'll likely enjoy this one for a while and see where it all is in the future. I did prewire the room for a projector as well so that will be an option for me when the time comes to change it up. I'm still missing trimwork and such so I've got to get the room finished first. It's been a time consuming project that killed a year of weekends but now that it is near complete it seems all worth it.
  6. Sorry, missed this. The room is not real big and again I'm fairly new to all of this. I had never seen a nice projection system in the beginning but I knew I liked the vivid colors of" the big 4k TV's. 4K projectors were almost $10k when I bought the TV for $7k, an 85" Samsung. Now the TV is more like $5k. I've only got room for a maximum of 105" screen so I'm hoping that the 100" TV's become affordable in the future.
  7. The speakers on the stage are covered behind acoustically transparent cloth frames so you can't see them. The reason for four subs is really just my not really knowing what I was doing. For home theater you really want the boom of the bigger ported subs vs the sealed that you see in the first pic. I'm currently just running the PC 13 cylinders on their own. It's hard to bland ported and sealed subs.
  8. Can't upload a second pic to save my life. Weird.
  9. Probably not exactly what the OP is thinking but i built my AV room last winter using Klipsch Reference series in an 11 channel Dolby Atmos surround system. There are a pair of SVS SB2000 12" subs and a pair of SVS PC13 Ultra's. I'm using a Marantz SR-7010 receiver and 3 external amps. Sounds pretty good.
  10. Scary to think how much money was lost in this debacle. Not to mention 3 years of depreciation on the car.
  11. LOL....this is exactly where I'm at with my 430. It's a great car, but it's no Lambo.
  12. How did the OB/ Heffner guys do? Did they run their Huracan?
  13. I'd say whom ever gets the hit wins the race. Looked like a pretty good match up to me.
  14. Cars are looking good as always. Good Luck this weekend!
  15. Remember it's not about trap. When Eddie Bello came to town with the old 911 he cleaned house with a far slower car. Trap speeds win 1/2 mile events but not TI.
  16. Sounds like you clearly have an agenda. Good luck with that.
  17. What an ignorant post to make after their Viper won the RWD trophy at TI last fall and finished second behind lambda lambda lambda and the lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu mu in KOTS. They brought one car to the fall event last year, just one. That same Viper participated earlier in last summer at the Chicago Half Mile event where it took the highest speed of the day. It made multiple passes that day as well. Now this year they have a completely new build on a completely different car along with their Viper. It wasn't something they are cranking out at a rate of 50 per year. It's going to take some R&D. The Viper had fuel system issues and that's racing for you. Things happen. If they had 15 Nth Moto Vipers there then I'm sure the event may have played out differently. Do you think that Kevin and the team should have wrapped it up and gone back and closed up shop when they had a turbo failure at the event? What about AM*S? You figure they should have hung it when things went wrong in the past? What a dumb ass comment to make about great shop that you know nothing about.
  18. I only did 600 miles during the time I owned the car. It was just over 36k when I sold it. The new owner is a young guy from New Jersey. He's not concerned with mileage. he flew in and drove the car back home so it would be around 38k now. He had more miles in the first day then I did. lol
  19. Thanks guys! The photo credit goes to my brother who is in to photography as a hobby. For better or worse I just picked up an 08 F430 Spider. I was really looking for an open roof car when I bought the Murci and living in northern Minnesota the topless Murci Roadster (while possibly the best looking car) was just too impractical. We have rainy summers and cool evenings. Heck just last weekend we had 34 degrees. lol I'm hoping to add a manual Gallardo in a few years if things go well for me. Kind of the best of both worlds as the 430 is an F1 car. Which I've never experienced before I may add.
  20. Thought I'd let the mods know that I've just sold the Murci and recently bought a Ferrari so I won't need the Lambo Owner title for a couple of years. I'll be back in the game in the future, just changing it up for a bit.
