Help with identifying hose on 2008 Superleggera
donblackie replied to donblackie's topic in Archived Content
Thanks Color, I thought it might be but i second guessed myself as I thought the fuel supply line was aluminum? -
Hi My 08 SL has been sitting in the garage for quite some time as we are working through a major remodel on our home. It seems as it some animal tried to eat through the hose coming into the front of the motor. Can someone help me identify what/which hose this is? Appreciate the help in advance.

Car looks great! Who made the SV bumper?

If its just a couple pieces, get a small safe and put it in a wall behind a photo. If its a BUNCH of stuff, then do as others have said. Chit cant be that valuable if you cant be bothered to look into a safe......

Lets talk about something serious for a moment. Pandora vs Spotify
donblackie replied to Steve K's topic in Off Topic
Spotify by a long shot but they need to step their game up on the lossless side for the serious listeners I wish Tidal had better UI -
When I grow up I want to be Fortis. Sound advice right here.

Anybody Here Have Experience With Medical Claim Appeals?
donblackie replied to Tara's topic in Off Topic
Im not sure I can be much help here other than the fact that I had to appeal to get my 2 level cervical disc replacement surgery done this year but the surgeon's staff did all the paperwork and process on the appeals. Is the cardiologist's office not well versed in these types of appeals? -

Very nice home and tasteful finishes! Great job! Out of curiosity, if your father has a company that does residential, why did you hire someone to GC the job for you? Was it more of a time issue?

Gallardo bought without PPI - look what happened
donblackie replied to Andrew R.'s topic in Automobili Lamborghini
Agree 100%. When I buy used exotics, I put it through 2 independent PPIs AND fly out to see myself and transact on the deal. Only way I would buy a used car site unseen is if its from a very good friend and we always agree on things such as condition. Even then I would still put the exotic through the PPI just so everyone knows. Id probably buy a Honda site unseen under those conditions however -
Agree with the rest on this. Much easier to sleep at night when you have toys that do not effect the higher priorities in life. With that being said, I have no concern how others use their money. Every individual makes their own decision.

Never understood reversing in on a driveway with an incline. I drive in forward in first. When I back out of my garage I put in reverse till i get to the decline, pop it in neutral and coast down the driveway so as to not keep it in reverse for any length of time. Trying to reverse up an inclined driveway in a lambo to me is not a good idea and I dont see the value in having your car reversed parked in your garage

If you are coming from California to Texas I would only reccommend Austin. Houston and Dallas are good for business and food but there is really not anything to do from an outdoor perspective. Austin is close to the hill country and has lakes (one big one and a smaller one that runs through the city) There is also hills (not mountains) that make the scenery much nicer.

That is only true if you are in BFE. If you want an "estate" in Tx in a desirable location you are still paying upwards of $1000/sqft

Getting to that upper light is the hardest part of the job. Quite a bit of interior needs to come out to access it

Motivating kids with Lambo on local news today!
donblackie replied to alpha6164's topic in Automobili Lamborghini
Man so cool. One of the reasons I bought mine was to be cool with the kids and motivate them as well. I clearly remember the day my parents took me on vacation in Miami when I was 8 and I saw a white Countach parked at the mall. We were walking by and the owner was getting out. I walked closely to admire the vehicle (no touching, all respect) and he immediately told to me step away and please dont touch the car....then walked off. That was a really disappointing moment for me as an 8 year old. I really do understand that man was probably very busy, so no bashing. That incident reminds me now to always make time for our future generation. Kids come up to me, I let them sit in the car, take pics, etc. I always tell them it doesnt take anything special to own one, just hard work. Very cool to see you motivating those kids in your city OP. -
Thought you were set on manual?

Whatever makes you feel better chief. Personally I choose not to think about another man's wiener but what you fantasize about is your prerogative. Things are starting to make sense, enjoying rolling around with dudes on a mat, let me guess, your favorite move is full mount? Or rear naked choke....literally. Lolz

Sorry I couldn't get back to you in time, was fishing with my son. Oh good god how I wish people could learn to read. I never said I hated women. Run along and watch city of angels or sliding doors with your boss before you have another melt down here

You are a hoot. Telling me I spend too much time on a forum when you have 5x the post. Lol And the majority of your post has a negative tone. Bottom line, you are a man who lets his wife wear the pants (gets married for no explainable upside) Your friends are all miserable with kids And you are dire spectrum to your parents (calling them roaches) Had you been dreaming of your wedding day since you were a kid like most of the women I know?
