  1. did you read the article you linked to? it's a student project.
  2. ...are you being serious? what about...neither? what about 'productive' instead of 'drain' or 'danger'? i'm an 18 year old...i go to school, have a job, and hang out with friends - why does a kid HAVE to be doing something 'bad' or 'illegal' like spray painting shit or racing cars? How about an art class? sports? studies? spray paint on a canvas or get a job painting murals? i was taught never to disrespect other people's property, and graffiti (no matter how good or bad it is) constitutes that. tagging is a gateway crime - it gets you into shit with real gang members, drugs, guns, stealing, then you're forced to join and it's not so much about the art anymore. paint isn't free - if a kid spends his days spray painting shit everywhere, where do you think he gets the paint from? his hard earned money? nope. i'm sorry, but while the art might be good, if you think that justifies graffiti and vandalism then there is something wrong with that. just because it's good doesn't mean its no longer a disregard for people's property...
  3. for those that like 'old school' hip hop/rap (like myself), some artists that you might enjoy: SchoolboyQ, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick, Danny Brown. *explicit lyrics*
  4. i can't understand this. the w212's automatically go into park once you open the door....
  5. i have an E class - the difference in space between the backseat of the E and CLS exists but i honestly can't tell when i sit in them, and i'm a big guy at 6'1. that being said, i could easily be comfortable in the CLS for a lengthy trip. the CLS is the best looking car among your options imo, thats what i would pick. backseat might not be AS big as the panamera, but how often will she have all of the passenger seats filled up with fully grown men? and even if she does, they would not be overly uncomfortable unless they were huge.
  6. i am not surprised. sometimes i am literally in shock and amazement when i see TSA 'agents'... i hate to think about it but the world we live in today makes me wonder what would happen if someone approached some tsa agents with a nice bribe or something.
  7. don't do it. plastidip works best on smaller parts or sections. but i wouldn't let any plastidip near a lambo...
  8. lost my uncle that day. i distance myself every year because it is very easy for me to let emotions take over when hearing people talk about it in public, at work or school, etc.
  9. lol totally get that feeling. i can't wait to see what happens next. those bastards are going to make us wait until 2013, wtf!
  10. bodyguards did a great job considering they didn't know what he had in his hands, but you can't help but feel sorry for the guy...
  11. im surprised they were that harsh, did you identify yourself as an owner? i called in earlier in the day and just asked to be put on the list so i could take some pictures...no problems...
  12. Recently I've been doing police ride-alongs with some agencies in Southern California. Last night I did a ride along with LAPD (in the interest of privacy, I won't say which division) - I went with a sergeant from one of the most dangerous divisions to work in for LAPD. I'll start by saying cops deserve so much more credit than they get - they deal with so much shit (figuratively and literally), its ridiculous. One of the calls we received that night was a shots fired. We arrive on scene and this older white couple were in a new Mbz CLS550...they were lost on the freeway and exited into South Central LA. Anyways, someone shot at their car and shattered their rear window. I asked the cop if this happens a lot and he said if you bring a nice car into this neighborhood, you're going to get robbed or shot at - they don't like people 'flashing' around nice cars. It was a huge eye opener for me. This particular division deals with multiple shots fired calls nightly - and now with the extremely hot summer nights, the action is non stop. We went to 3 shooting calls that night - 1 ended up being a homicide and I watched them set up the crime scene, k9 units, helicopters everywhere - it was wild. We also dealt with homeless people shitting everywhere, crack heads, prostitutes, gang bangers, etc...lapd keeps really busy and its amazing how much stuff happens on the daily/nightly that doesn't make it to the media. Point of this was...I know most everyone wouldn't anyways, but if you ever find yourself in South Central LA in a 'nice' car - especially a lambo - get the fcuk out! I know there are certain parts of LA that are unsafe but I always felt safe in my car anywhere not expecting that I'd get shot at for driving through a certain area, but not anymore. If anyone has any ride-along stories they want to share, that would be cool to hear about. If you haven't been on one, I suggest signing up - it's a really great experience - often times the only encounters we have with cops are when they're pulling us over for speeding; one rarely gets to see them in full action doing real police work.
  13. haha what is it with people and driving off in maseratis... Man steals $75K Maserati from downtown LA dealership http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=...article-8777206 they keep saying gran turismo and even showed a pic of a gt but in the surveillance video it looks like a QP.
  14. i live in beautiful orange county, california in newport beach and i would have it no other way...30 mins from LA/Hollywood, all the theme parks, beaches everywhere, couple hours to the desert, couple hours to the snow. we really have the best of everything in socal. my friends and i were just talking about how sad we feel for those kids in bumfuck kansas...we literally are a short drive to some of the most desirable or at least glamorized locations in the world...we can do and see so many things on the daily that people dream about doing and seeing on vacations...
  15. jesse is currently my favorite character, which is crazy because he was one of my least favorite. vice-versa for walt. i always hated that bitch skyler though. *spoiler:
  16. would use. my car dealership has this available online for service appts - love it and +1 to the pizza thing
  17. the 'rising' motif is so very clear throughout the movie: batman rises out of the ashes of public disgrace, gotham city rising out of its strife, bruce rises to the occasion when he comes out of hiding, bruce rises when he stands up to fix his back, bruce rising out of the pit, bat suit rising out of the water, the guns rising from the tumbler, the bat rising when it flies...the lamborghini doors rising lol, etc. etc. that being said, the end of the movie is not a dead giveaway that blake will 'become' robin...blake was Robin throughout the movie - he was batman's wingman/sidekick. when blake is rising on the platform in the bat cave, that is foreshadowing him becoming the next batman. bruce wayne realizes that gotham city only needs 'batman' - whoever he may be. they do not necessarily need bruce wayne. its also the reason why gordon at the end of the film sees a repaired 'bat signal' - gotham city needs A batman...not bruce wayne - the batman is an eternal symbol that cannot be destroyed for gotham city and blake rising on the platform is him accepting the carrying of the legacy. not to mention the symbolism of bats flying out at him - same way bruce wayne was introduced to the cave and turned into batman. ..atleast thats my interpretation. and also makes sense because wb approved 3 more batman movies i read somewhere
  18. this was one of the most solid trilogies ever. i loved all three with the second movie being my favorite - attributed to heath ledger's performance. we can probably sit through the movie and nitpick details like how bane got out of the pit, why every police officer was on duty at the same time and all underground, how bruce wayne managed to heal his broken spine in 3 months after some guy with an accent whacked a vertebrae back in etc. etc. but in the end its a movie about a bat man...suspend your disbelief and enjoy the movie!
  19. ^ idiot driver...cop was right in being that angry but he should've kept his cool a little better. a drawn weapon and then having his partner take the driver into custody would've been much better for the cop....instead he decided to act like a fcking monkey, cussing at the driver, damaging property, etc.
  20. hahaha 0:55 had me rolling on the floor. buttermilk IS an asshole.
  21. ...i am going to hell for laughing way too hard at this.
