  1. LS1 = one of the best motors of all time There is a reason people put love them not only in American cars, but in BMWs, RX7s, Miatas, etc
  2. Please humor us and call Lamborghini asking for a complete long block and trans for an Aventador.
  3. I sell home and auto insurance for a living, unfortunately I'm not licensed in GA so I can't help you directly. Defining the "best" company can be tricky; best rates, best claims experience, best service? If rate is less of a concern, Chubb will be the best for you. Generally you'll want to look at combining your home and auto insurance with the same company. If you have time, call around and get quotes from local agents. Go with the one you are most comfortable with, an agent who writes insurance by the book and one who will take the time to review your insurance needs and make recommendations. As with many things in life, the cheapest is rarely the best. I like buying locally as you can form a relationship with that person over time and if shit hits the fan, you can walk into his or her office and show your face. Generally local agents will know the insurance market in your state better than someone in a call center. For someone at your income level, you really should carry an umbrella policy. If you don't have a lot of time to shop, consider going to an insurance broker who can do the shopping for you. They take a cut from whoever you end up insuring with. GL
  4. I thought the easiest way was to "know someone"?
  5. Did Imola in Minneapolis build the car? I am right down the road from them. Enjoy it...

  7. Not sure if this has been posted. Extremely graphic and NSFW. If you have a weak stomach then don't even think about it. http://www.chinasmack.com/2010/pictures/fi...-reactions.html
  8. My friends Dad is selling his 74 Pantera. Interested parties can PM me. I'm also part of the old school crowd but in the low budget category. My daily...
  9. I met a guy from another forum and he ended up stalking me endlessly for a year or so. I think he was gay. Actually, he was definitely gay. It wasn't that bad, just a few too many emails/texts. Met at least 20-30 others from various forums and no other issues. It's interesting getting to know someone online, most of the time they are a little bit different (than what you pictured) in person.
  10. Your best bet is going to be a custom spacer. I've seen people make them in a variety of ways including machining down used brake rotors but I would just find a reputable company to build some for you. If you do end up going that route then consider new lug bolts/hardware as well. I haven't used these guys before but they look legit? http://www.motorsport-tech.com/
  11. That particular car is a touch overpriced, but to be fair I don't know the vert market very well. If you must have a BMW, buy from an enthusiast who has done the preventative maintenance. Cooling system, suspension, subframe, vanos, valve cover gaskets, bushings and mounts, are the main ones. If you are willing to do some work on it yourself, the parts aren't all that expensive. If you have to pay someone to do the work then you should really budget an additional $5k for a safety net/preventative maintenance. Check out the BMW forums... e46fanatics, bimmerforums.
  12. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/04/18/biggest...-100-000-spiff/ Our sister site, AOL Autos, just dug up one of the largest rebates we've ever seen on a new car. If, for some reason, you must have a Maybach before the brand ceases production altogether, you may in line to snag a tidy $100,000 rebate. Daimler previously let slip that the company will kill the ultra-luxury brand in 2013 and replace it with a new high-end Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman. Given that Maybach models never exactly jumped off of the showroom floor, we're guessing the German automaker needs all the help it can get moving the Type 57 and Type 62. Even with $100,000 off the sticker price, you'll still need a suitcase full of C notes to take one of these machines home. The entry-level Type 57 commands a $376,300 MSRP while the Type 62 starts at $427,700. Even at those prices, reports suggest the the company lost a staggering $500,000 on each and every model it sold. It's a wonder the marque stayed around as long as it did. News Source: AOL Autos
  13. I rent 2 rooms out in my house. I've been lucky and my tenants have always been close personal friends. If you can go that route, I think you'll find being a landlord very easy. If that is not an option then I'd consider renting out the entire house for your mortgage amount, and finding a more fitting home for yourself.
  14. Facebook has so much cash they are probably dying to buy up all of the latest fads so they don't develop into a more serious threat. Doesn't Google do the same thing? I think the evaluation is silly too but $1B is a drop in the bucket for FB.
  15. I'd love to hear more about how you achieve that finish.
  16. Looking good. I'm growing to like the painted lip on the Cassiopias. Front bumper totally sets it off. Enjoy it in good health.
  17. Amazing! Care to share the name of the shop?
  18. Not sure the re-painting chrome wheels is a great idea. You'd want to strip the chrome plating off and then paint the bare aluminum. You'd be better of buying a new set of wheels and unloading your Mayas, IMO.
  19. I would drive both before spending hundreds of thousands of dollars.
  20. The car is the same color as Charizard, so that is the connection. Or maybe he just really likes Pokemon.
  21. Charizard is the most famous Pokemon of all !!!
