FX back in 2014 aired a show called "Fargo", not to be confused with the movie (same title). This show had 2 seasons as of date, but each season was a different story-line, only watch season 1; season 2 wasn't that great. Season 3 is supposedly shooting as we speak. Surprisingly season 1 was good; REALLY good, worth watching if you like the thriller/crime genre with alot of adult humor. Billy Bob Thornton gave some of his best work on season 1.

"The Night Of" aired on HBO a few weeks ago. Its 8 episodes (one season). Highly recommended if you're into mystery-crime-thriller, top notch cast.

Respect to Jerry For someone that really made it, you sense the passion & joy that comes from this show Some episodes less entertaining than others, but since he's solely motivated by personal enjoyment, a certain anti-stress comes accross watching these clips. Saw him live a few years ago at the Pantages, he was fantastic ! He mentioned in his act that he truly loved stand-up, where some comedians view it as a necessary evil, avoiding it after success (Eddie Murphy is said to hate standup even though he's a riot) If your situation allows: "Do what you love you'll never work a day in your life" !

Never knew Robert, but may he RIP, left too young, hope his folks find the strength to get through such a tragedy. I dream that cancer will be something medicine soon conquers once & for all, its a nightmare for the patient, their loved ones, testing their courage, resolve and willingness to fight this cruel monster. My bad, made the assumption this story got enough media attention lately, to skip over the intro... This guy Epstein; who was known for many years in NY and elsewhere for being a "mysteriously" wealthy guy, who rubbed shoulders with famous folks (Bill Clinton & Stephen Hawkings among others), was convicted in 2008 for soliciting girls for underage prostitution, he even served some time for the charge. Just recently the same girl, filed a civil lawsuit, the renewed this story in the media, and is dragging other people with him into the mud, Prince Andrew being the most notable. Real clusterfcuk ! The latest to emerge, is the notion that Bill Clinton might be subpoenaed to testify in this case, I'm sure Hilary must be ecstatic !

1st read about him in a Vanity Fair profile years ago, I recall reading other news snippets over the years but nothing really stood out except the guy was off & had deep pockets. But with this latest civil suit against him; that's dragging Prince Andrew & Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz names in the mud, this story is really catching momentum, just getting more & more bizarre by the day. Has oil reached the bottom yet ? If I knew that I would be the next Jordan Belfort, but from everything I read and watched, from the so called "experts": - The Saudi's and other OPEC players, have learned from experience, that any attempt at slowing down production, will be picked up somewhere else making up the shortage, essentially has them losing market share without really fixing the problem of low prices. - Its really is a global "Supply Vs. Demand" hypothesis, with the speculators adding momentum to the market direction. - The markets do this thing called "overreacting", so when something is moving in either direction it usually picks up steam up/down, especially when global fundamentals can "theoretically" support a position. - The market will find its equilibrium, sooner or later these prices will rise, as more consumers start consuming more as these prices make it more and more tempting to buy, hoard or simply buy options on... - All OPEC producing members, aren't selling their oil at today's prices, they have contracts with every single one of their customers that range 3-6-12-18 months and beyond...So they may very well be still selling to China, Australia or South Africa at $100+ prices still... If you have the disposable income, trying to stock pick the best energy stocks: Chevron, BP, EXXON, Royal Dutch, Halliburton, etc...might be a sound move at these current prices, they will rise sooner or later, depends on your time horizon, the longer you got, the better the odds on your returns ! Just my $0.02 , by no means do I know anything on this subject, beyond what I read in the paper and watch on CNBC like the rest... Happy hunting, , filling up these days is alot less painful that's for sure
