I want to say it was 3 months and then you had to "attempt" to bring it out of the country (aka pay the port fees and drive it to the port but not actually get on the boat). While I don't have the tactical i do have the super nova with the tac and 26 inch barrel and that gun is awesome, Ive had absolutely no issues with it and I once put over 4k rounds through it between cleanings (and i only cleaned it after falling out of a duckboat). It is considerably lighter and just feels over all more solid than friends mossbergs or 870's, I also own an 870 and always seem to grab the benelli when i go out (be it for trap, bird or deer). I have actually convinced 4 other people to pick up supernovas after trying mine. I would definitely recommend picking one up.

Could have been an awesome opportunity to hearken back to the origins of Lamborghini and call it the 350GT (or the modern equivalent) and make it a smooth GT car of sorts which it seems they kind of halfway did rather than this edgy car with "comfortable" interior. However it does intrigue me, this car doesn't do much for me in its current guise.

This is very true and while the "new" missile that's due to replace it is great on paper it really hasn't stacked up in the field (the last test it hit the camera that was supposed to film the impact and the camera was 45 yards away). Then again having seen the hellfire hit 3 feet from some one and have them get up and run away i can understand the need.

Im a flight instructor and the only reason i even do that is i have a second set of controls to take over if the student fucks up and I still have had a number of close calls. If i didnt have those controls no way in hell i would do it.

I used to be a flight instructor for beginners (still am but not for beginners anymore) and what you described was basically an everyday occurrence for me with some students. I cant even begin to count the number of times where a student did something that you just looked at them like "WTF" and their reply would be well in flight sim X i can do that. It is really nice being where I'm at now and teaching people who already have their ratings and are looking to add on ratings of more advanced aircraft but you still will get some stupid reactions (like one i had who just added his helicopter rating along with his commercial fixed wing and on very very short final decided to forget if he was in an airplane or helicopter and nearly put us in the dirt). Anything really needs to be given a healthy amount of respect for a lot of the stuff we deal with be it airplanes, cars, guns or even kitchen knives. it really is a shame what happened and i hope the kid rests in peace.

I can remember a few friends and I going out shooting with my dad and uncles and he commented on how "desensitized" we where to the guns and not afraid of them because we knew how to handle them safely. It no longer had the "mystique" to it they where tools to use, and tools to respect much like a table saw, that's it (granted they where fun tools).

i started goose hunting at 12 and deer at 13. (and i think i would have started deer earlier but i talked too much and would never keep quiet) Just like everyone else said, I started with a .22 bolt action rifle (at about 7-8ish) till i had a handle on that, then got a 10/22 and from there to all other manner of fun stuff. But I always was berated on the rules of handling firearms and safety alike. Hell i took a NRA gun saftey course at 10 and 11 years old. Its a completely different ideal from people living in a city to living in a rural area. Im honestly more scared to take an older friend (late 20's)shooting, who has never held or shot a gun before instead of a younger kid. older people tend to have a "I'm old enough to know whats right and wrong" mentality and kids just are a blank book.

Although with the latest price hikes I could easily see north of a million.
