Several seem to have this problem, can you take closeups of the edge of the bumper where it meets the fender/turn signal?

I think you can readjust some body panels. Looking over my car some of the gaps were pretty bad from the factory and the bodyshop readjusted them before mounting the bumper.

There seems to be alot of settling and movement of the factory body panels on these cars as they get on in miles, luckily there is also a way to adjust he panels back into alignment, especially the hood,

So everyone with this bumper needs to have the hood aligned?

better quality?

Sorry if I forgot to mention the odd screw here and there I did the write up from memory. I didn't have to remove the three ali brackets at the front. As long as you release the old bumper they can stay in place. You have the same problem I did. The right hans side fit drops awy from the trunk lid. You can remedy this by placing washers of varying thickness under the bumper along the front top mountings. This will get the fit perfect.

Looks good.

I don't know about that. My experience after seeing a couple of cars with weird gaps has been that the owners didn't know that there cars have had front end damage in the past...
