Who enjoys cognac and what kinds?

I took 6 weeks off alcohol and now that I have met my goals, I had a Remy Martin VSOP tonight and realized I missed it.

That is my cognac of choice but what do the cognac drinkers in the house recommend?

Funny,

I always imagined you would be drinking

ALWAYS drinking Chimay.

I like Chimay more than I like 2 of my 3 kids. When I want a break from Chimay or Orval though, I hit the cognac.

I have no idea what you guys are saying.

Me too, and my kid puked up some RemY Martin pancakes in homeroom.

Never heard of that. Got a favorite recipe you care to share?

Girlie drinks ftw!! I actually hate any straight liquor. I would have to be bribed by a gorgeous girl to drink anything straight up haha

Are you for real, what's it like?

Just kidding. I don't drink too often.

Haha, I have no idea what that is. Usually drink Guiness but rum and coke (especially Malibu rum) or mojitos or margaritas. That's pretty much my comfort zone. Not a huge drinker anyways

Interestingly enough, those who graduate to drinking things "neat" (straight) will have less or milder hangovers compared to the rum & coke, margarita, cosmo, etc. crowd, assuming you drink about the same.

Manhattans, Martinis and Rob Roys are basically the same drink with just a different base:

Manhattan = Whiskey + vermouth

Martini = Gin or Vodka + vermouth

Rob Roy = Scotch + vermouth
