Just picked up wifey's car

Test drove it today, but had the kids in the car so I wasn't able to push it. Didn't really get to hear the engine & exhaust at wot, either. Oh well, guess I'll just have to test it on my own when it gets home this Monday. Was also considering the 911 turbo, but had absolutely no useable rear seats. The new CLS was also a consideration, but we already had one before and wanted to try something different. Long story short, wife fell in love with this car. The rear seats are quite generous. The styling is very nice and sophisticated, not too ostentatious and somewhat low-key. Love the red stitching on the seats. Will post more pics next week. Maybe modding this car will keep me busy enough until the lambo comes home by the end of summer...if not :tyson:

congrats! am looking for a new DD and the GT is the top choice due to the generous rear seats...tried really hard for the DB9 but even the 4 yr old can't fit behind.

Thanks! DB9 is nice, also. However, all the models tend to look the same after awhile. Yes...rear seats were surprisingly comfortable. Was even able to squeeze in a full size car seat with leg room to spare. Definitely recommend the GT.

Very nice, I have heard a few cars modded with exhaust and I must say they sound phenomenal. Very musical :icon_mrgreen:

Congratz! :icon_thumleft:

Thank you. Will probably hold off on the exhaust mod for now. What system did you experience?

love the sound of the Maseratis, nice.

The sound had more rumble than I thought. Does sound nice...can't wait to hear WOT!

Congrats! Beautiful car! I would change the wheels but otherwise looks gorgeous!

Thanks Carol. Absolutely agree...the first mod will be wheels and then a carbon fiber spoiler.

I bought my wife a GT a year ago. It's been a great family car. Love the sounds. Probably one of the prettiest cars on the road in my opinion. Congrats!

Maseratis of late always had a great sound, very underrated for sure.

Like! Missed you at the brunch yesterday.

Thanks Ryan! Yeah...need to join you guys more often. Scheduling it around the kids is the hard part.

I concur!

Awesome car! Congrats! I think Maseratis are some of the best looking cars out there.

Very nice! Congrats. I love the way these cars look, and if they drive as good as they look, you have a winner! :icon_thumleft:

Swil Racing.

Will check it out. Wife already thinks the exhaust sounds too tame

Congrats!!

Looks even better in person. Will need more seat time...preferably without the kids.

Will post more pics later this week. Kinda tired from cleaning the garage to make room for the car.

If you find it, let us know if it has a CGT :icon_mrgreen:

The one I heard was Tubi and it was really really good!

I remember now about Swil and his "CGT". No wonder nothing came up when I did a search for the Swil exhaust :eusa_wall:

I did mention that I was "exhausted" last night, right?! (sorry...I know that was lame)
