737Drvr Report post Posted June 28, 2013 Well everyone, I think I have finally found a car that I will keep a very long time. I have always wanted a Lamborghini with a gated shifter. As you all know, a modern Lambo is not easy to find with this option. When the LP560-2 Anniversario was announced, it fit the bill perfectly. With a gated shifter, superleggera interior (for the most part), and the unique white paint, I had to have it. This dream became reality this week as my Anniversario hit the shores of LA. They flew the car in from Italy (which I think is really cool) and it is now at Lamborghini Newport Beach getting some finishing touches done to it. In addition to what the car comes with, I had clear front side markers , carbon fiber side skirts, black cordellias, a clear bra, and performante stripes installed. I just wanted the car to be unique among its own. I get the car a week from today and this is most excited I have ever been to lay eyes on a car. Thanks again to Giovanni and Lambo NB for making this happen and treating me exceptionally well. Thanks to all on the board as well. As a side note, I'm going to be at Lambo NB for their supercar show on July 6th. Would be great to meet some of you there if you're in the area. Just in town for the day to meet my my salesman, the LNB staff, and attend the show. Oh, and as a bonus, I get out of the heat for a day. I'll probably be hanging out with Giovanni. Hope to see some of you there. Kev, my trip starts tomorrow and overnights into Sunday. I'm guessing that Driven is closed on Sunday and don't want to bother Steve on a day off. I will get up there soon though and check things out. Monterey (Concorso) is on my to do list in the next couple of years as well.
