one of my tires was a bit low and showed in the center cluster as front left and the warning light was on solid (2008 lp640) Pumped the tire up and the message in the cluster is out but the orange light is still on, flashing now. I think this means the batteries in the wheel sensors are dead or dying, anyone know if you can get Audi/VW sensors as a replacement as I assume getting Lambo sensors from a dealer would also include the bend over and take it tax? Again this is a 2008 LP640 Thanks

What ever you do be really careful of any doctors prescribing medications to make you feel better, (meds are not much different to what you were doing with drink) much better to work through it your self as you are doing. Got word yesterday that my place in Delray Beach was untouched and looks like the surrounding area held up pretty well, I was worried about living in a war torn zone for the next year or so. Electricity is off so will not be making the trip down until that is restored. Wishing everyone else the same luck that I had.

As luck would have it I just closed on a house just off of A1A in Delray Beach across from the ocean at the end of June, was scheduled to start a massive renovation in the next few weeks. I may be forced to up the scale of the renovation now, erring on the side of caution I did secure full hurricane and flood insurance against the advice I was given that was to wait until I upgraded to impact and hurricane rated windows and roof ties, the insurance was expensive but I am feeling well justified at the moment. Stay safe all people in the path from the Islands through Fl. up to VA.

I was going to drive to Columbia SC or Charleston SC to see the total eclipse but understand that the traffic will be worse than a hurricane evacuation going both directions so as Charlotte has about a 95% or more coverage I decided to stay home and watch from my South facing balcony. Did see a full eclipse many years ago in England and remember it being a weird sensation as it goes dark in the middle of the day. Please make sure you have approved glasses if you are looking at the sun as it seems a lot of dangerous fakes are being sold.

How did you manage to drive the car to the Lamborghini dealer with a front diff so locked up that it smoked the clutch? I'm sure I know the answer bur had to ask the question. Sorry for all your troubles after you went so far over the last year to get this car back to perfect condition.

what is it for and where do you put the catch can, why only one if it attaches to the air box? How much BTW?

Can you get an obd2 scanner on it to see if it has any codes that you can post? you might also be able to turn the lights off with it? Strange things can turn the mil light on, if I remember the brake light switch can do it. If that fails try killing the battery for a while and see if the go out and stay out.

Just saw a YouTube vid where she picked up a MB AMGC63S a few days ago from a dealer, car looked nice, black paint with black/red interior. Vid says it is new DD in place of the GTR.

The corsa tires are softer and should have more grip. Down sides are that they wear faster and I have heard of people complaining about the amount of small rocks they pick up and throw at your wheel wells/body work.

I seem to remember my Fathers Aston Martins of the 70's having the name of the engine builder on a plaque fixed some where on the engine also.

Look at the rear view, the real sv either came with the large wing mounted on truss like stands or a low wing that was an extension of the rear. This car has both wings.

Most of my income but not all was from Royalties so I got fucked with paying the 3.9% extra AHC tax on royalty income and rammed up the rear for normal income plus the extra .9% AHC tax, then I sold my intellectual property and got fucked all over again with the same 3.9% extra AHC tax, we are talking many many extra 100000's of $'s in taxes for AHC less than a mill but not much. Now I am retired and have to insure myself and wife on an individual policy and pay around $1200 per month with family deductible of 12k per year I have to pay $26k per year before I receive a penny from my insurance, how the F is that affordable? Sorry for the rant but needed to get that off my chest.
