  1. Depending on the other options (Nav, interior choices, etc). But lets say all the good options, and well maintained/serviced. I would say range wise 115K - 125K. Color is going to be a big factor. Silver, Red, Yellow is going to be at the lower end due to either desirable color (or in Yellow - most were made in Yellow). Orange, White, and Verde Ithica (green) will bring the higher end of the range. If it is a little worn, it is going to be around 110 - 115K.
  2. Nice - sets the car off nice. I was also wondering about the color. In the first pics when you bought it, it looked whiter... I was thinking you had a camera issue, since it looked off white. Nice color, I like the off white a lot. And I have not seen this color live of all the ones I have seen!
  3. I was going to say around 45K as well. I would make sure if you are interested in this car, have it looked over really good. Lots of trash in some of these types mods, and then you have how the car might have been treated. Ask him what his best time of the drag strip in the 1/4 was. That will give you a good idea how many times he has thrashed it down the drag strip
  4. Did you get this from a dealer or private sale? If dealer, I would ensure you ask for 2 and 3 for sure (I think number 1 was an option if I remember when I ordered mine..) No NAV DVD would be annoying. I am not sure why anyone would take this out. Are you sure you have a NAV Unit - the unit looks the same with or without. You cannot play DVD's - don't worry, you won't have time anyway, and don't need the distraction For the Coming Home feature (3 buttons up top to open your garage doors). Read your owners manual. You have to hit your program button on your car and also push the little learn button on the actual garage door opener in your garage (which means you will have to get up on a ladder and push a little red button - or at least on mine you did). Adding bluetooth - there are a few posts on that. Do a quick search. Basically you have to either put another unit in there, or there is a kit you can buy that is an Audi. I have a G Spyder, and it would be usless in it (only option I did not get on mine when ordered). Which I am glad I did not - you couldn't hear a thing with the exhaust going, so not worth the money or time in my experience. Good luck and enjoy your new ride. Lets see some pics!
  5. I have lived in 14 cities around the world and in the US for work. More when I was younger and was on assignment for 1 year or more. It is great to experience different places and people - and a good way to "extend" your own personal and professional network. I can say I have liked Cincinnati the best for many reasons. But I will also tell you I did not dislike any of the places I have lived. I did like some more than others, but fond memories and friends in all the places I have lived. If you are young and able to move - why not move and experience a new place and people! Some of the places I have lived - and yes Cincy is the best place (specifically now that I have kids and family, it is affordable, weather is pretty decent, great schools, and central enough when I fly out each week - doesn't take long to get most places...) Tokyo Melbourne Australia Sydney Australia Perth Australia San Fran St. Louis Columbus, Ohio Cincinnati Bankok Thailand Chicago Detroit Auckland NZ Peoria IL London
  6. Good Choice Allan! Great looking DD. I think that may be my next DD/Work Car. The prices are right, and they are a great ride! Well done.
  7. I am sure both are great cars and fun to drive. I have had an 04 Gallardo (one of the first in the US) and I bought an 07 Spyder. Of all the exotics in the last 15 years I have had - the Gallardo is the best hands down... I just think the Gallardo and Lamborghini Marquee is the better to own than the R8...
  8. Isn't that the new M6 (or whatever that Crossover thing is called by BMW) - the two door version they said they were coming out with..
  9. I run and pick stuff up at the local krogers (my wife always sends me out)... I can get a few bags in the front and many on the floor by the passenger seat. I tell most people it is my grocerie getter - since that seems to be much of my driving time with work and travel lately...
  10. Honestly I think one of the problems could be your bed. If you have been through some therapy, etc. Take a look at what you are sleeping on, can make a big difference. Had a similar problem a few years back, it would get better after certain treaments, etc. But would always come back in the same pain areas (for me it was middle back area). Changed up from a firm to a semi-firm and within a week the pain was gone, not to mention I sleep better. I am seriously thinking about one of those beds with the number select thing to see if I can fine tune it better than a standard mattress, the older I get the more pains that I tend to have ;-)
  11. That is the same process they had for years. When I ordered my 07 Spyder in 06, I spec'd everything they showed in the video: Headrest logos, paint, stitching, wheels, paint, carpet, dash color, etc. So I am not sure how this is really different - except that they have a few more variations of wheels, paint, etc now?
  12. Take a look at Mezlan - I have a few pair of their dress shoes and they are by far the most comfortable that I own. Their exotic leathers are outstanding as well.
  13. That is so overhyped. Let me just say, there is virtually no way this little hole could allow them to "take over your phone in it's entirety". The user would have to have SSH installed (only available if you hack your phone) and then only files would be able to be accessed. Could they get some information, sure, but take over your phone - not. I cannot see that much could happen at all with an iphone not hacked (even if it was hacked, I don't think much can be done). Worst case with this hole is that you would have file corruption and have to restore the phone from the last backup. You have better chances of getting struck by lighting than having an issue with this.
  14. I think in most cases it does not help but can actually hurt. I would not personally want an car from most of the famous stars or athletes today... That being said there are several examples of past famous people where it can bring a nice premium. Looking at Steve McQueens F-car, many of Carol Shelbys original cars, Elvis, Jay Leno sold several over the years, Frank Sinatra, Mae West, even Nicolas Cage to a certain degree, etc. Where the car meets some of the legends I do think it can add some significance... I use Jay Leno as an example today - we all know him as a huge car guy and famous of course... Today selling one of his car would sell at a little bit of a premium over a like model of someone elses. Maybe because we all know how great of shape he keeps his cars and maybe a little based on fame. Fast forward 40 years - if he is more legend status (like say Steve McQueen) - that is when it does add significant value due to found memories, more legendary stories, etc. Yours I do think it does add some value with the history of ownership and how it was spec'd, color combo, etc. I think as time passes maybe even more so - some of the cars today that are more common productions it will take many years to become legends or famous - so I think in 10+ years the significance of your car could be even more value above the standard diablo.
  15. I had an 04 Silver G as well. It was a popular color because the two US Auto show cars - 1 was silver and 1 was yellow. I bought the one silver that was at the Detroit Auto show. I sold mine to someone out west - does it have the camel color inserts by chance... I think there were only a few silver with that color combo for 04... If so I could be my old G. Mine had a vin of 0396.. I really like the silver - really sets off the angle. Even though not the highest resale, I do like the silver a lot!
  16. The best comment on the pic... _____________________ He has an expensive bike attached to his expensive car. He doesn't give a f*ck if the car gets scratched because he's rich. How does that make this guy a loser? I have a 07 RR with a bike rack and an 06 911.. So we're all losers?? Maybe he just doesn't want to drive a Ford truck like YOU to haul his bike around?? AP Reply: July 9th, 2009 at 12:32 pm let me guess. you're a 45 newly divorced loser? sounds about right. and by the way. I JUST BOUGHT A ROCKET SHIP. HOW'S MY EXHAUST TASTE? lie down and die, retard. ____________________________ I thought the rocket ship comment was pretty funny.
  17. We should all be so proud of our young men and women that serve, fight and sacrifice for us every day... Very moving video... God bless all our soldiers and keep them safe..
  18. When I go to my farm and do work there (cutting wood, ATVs, etc.) I have a few invictas that I have for my don't care what happens to them watches. They are remarkably durable and cheap. I also have a Luminox that is an awesome durable inexpensive watch. I have a BR03 Bell and Ross - I don't wear it for the beating around on the farm, but wear it doing most others - it is very durable. But at the price - not worth me killing it over. Tissot has some sport models (a few buddies wear them banging around) - inexpensive and durable. Another buddy swears by TechnoMarine for durability and they are also inexpensive. My wife has a Festina for when she is at the farm - they make a good durable watches. I will probably pick one of these up if one of my invictas die. I just don't wear my IWC, B&R, or Concord when doing high activity. I am so freaking rough on my watches I always want something that is durable, but doesn't bother me if I damage or kill it.
  19. Me too - Mine is scratched (somehow) - I didn't notice it until it was bright out. I only clean it with Microfiber as well - so must have been some big ass dust on it when I cleaned it...
  20. Sweet looking car and congrats on the Spyder! Enjoy!
  21. That is wicked... White or the flannel gray color are the colors to have on the LP.
  22. You can also clear the CEL's (once things are back in place) by doing a "false start" on your G. Do this by turning the key to start the car - but do not let the car start (so just let it start to crank). Do this 3 or 4 times and then start completely and it should clear the CEL's.
