If possible could you get the vin number? I may have had it in my shop a few years ago, and quickly booted it out after seeing what I saw with it.

Enzo's with a few miles on them are trading privatly for under 1 million quite frequently. The MINT one owner cars are still bringing good soild numbers like the ones being quoted in this thread. Last year I think 2 sold within the 8-900k range.

Ya know..I HATED this guy for years. But he really seems like a guy that is down to earth. His skits on SNL are seriously funny, and he definatly knows his place. I remeber he played the SARS festival here in Toronto, with bands like AC/DC, ATHERAX etc..he knew it would be a disaster, but did it anyway. He got bottles, tomatos, and all sorts of other stuff, throwen at him. The point is he came and performed. He knew what was going to happen from the start but gave it his all anyway. My hat is off to him.

I've got about 3 rebuildable cores at the shop. The seals are still available from lambo, but the bearings are not. However, my pump guy found a source for the bearings. Good price at 500 bucks..anybody needs one, grab this one!

Man..you guys are more worried about looks! What about the mechanical side of things? Water pumps, idler pullies, valves, gasket sets, engine parts, suspension parts, tie-rod ends, ball joints, etc. Does none of that stuff concern you? Those are the parts that you should be concerning yourselves with, NOT carbon fiber dress-up shit. Remember AUDI does not care about anything below 2001 (6.0) Once the old cataloged stock is sold out, it gone forever. Start thinking of build stuff that will keep the car on the road, not just looking pretty..they do just fine in that department.

The parts that are still available are old stock items sitting in lambo's warehouse..already cataloged and ready to be sold. NEWLY made replacement Diablo parts are not being produced anymore. Once the stock runs out..thats it. We will be stuck buying used parts unless somebody steps up to the plate and starts making parts for these cars in the aftermarket. So yes, parts are still available, but the supply will not be replenished.

Bad news folks....I was talking to my Lambo parts supplier today and it appearantly Audi no longer has an interest in the Diablo model.. Apparently parts for this car are no longer being made, and Audi has zero interest in keeping this model alive and well. I think that SUCKS huge harry balls. This is the car that brought Lambo into the 90's and made the company a profit. Audi is making a huge mistake. I really hope an aftermarket company will step up to the plate and offer parts for these wonderful cars.

She should not have been there..end of story. For her to even have been allowed to go into such a country in that situation is simply careless. Call it sexism or what ever else you want to..but I blame her superiors for allowing her to put herself into that situation. Geez, if they were going to send her they should have made sure that she was dressed properly for the country as to not draw any more undesired attention to herself. SHE should have thought of that as well. But it comes down to that American mentality of "they can touch me I'm an American!!, I'm a free women!!" Well not here your not girl. I feel sick to my stomach that this took place, but damn it..when the hell are women going to understand that they are not the same as men?? When will they stop trying to be like us? When will they face the reality that there are places in this world that as awful as it is, are not places for women of other countries to feel safe in, and really have no business being there in the first place.

Hate to say it, but the Gallardo is getting quite dated looking. It just looks old now. The design of the car was too impulsive from the start, it just doesn't have any real flow to it. Have a look at last month Road and Track, the 458 looks so much better, newer and well just overall more appealing to the eye. Performance of both cars is nothing short of awesome, but the F-car takes the cake in the visual department, which unfortunately sells over performance in the exotic car universe.

I work in a shop that specializes in BMW. In fact we have brand new cars brought to us directly from the dealers for fresh oil changes, and complete module scans. We have found numerous codes and issues in the BRAN-NEW Bimmers, before they even really hit the street. The fuel pump is a VERY common one as it does have its own module. The "Valvetronic" system in the cars is a huge issue as well. Head gasket problems on the V8's is becoming rampant. Coolant leaks from the center pipe under the intake manifold are a huge problem in the N54 engine. This job requires the timing cover to be removed to repair, but thankfully and ingenious aftermarket device turns a 30 hour repair into 8 hours tops. "Clacking" engines and Vanos faults are the norm, as well as jerky engine response on cold start. Power wise they are excellent, and very smooth once warm however, and the handling is very good. I would NEVER buy a 2005 and up Bimmer. I'll stick with my E39 530i. Bullet proof, comfy, and the perfect amount of power for day-to-day driving.

Has anybody here had an issue with their SLR overheating in traffic?? A very good customer of mine has a 2005 SLR which is doing just that. He called me from the side of the road. I asked if the cooling fans were running, and he said that they were on. But it did boil over (!). The car has 50,000km on it now and is obviously out of warranty. The car will be at the shop on Monday for repair. I have worked on only one other SLR, and that was just an oil service. I service his Lambo and Ferrari's. Anybody with SLR service experience is welcome to chime in. The last thing I want to do is start pulling stuff apart if there is a common fault I can go directly to. If not then I'll start digging further. Thanks in advance.

I just have to wonder...As the earths temp continues to rise, I wonder what will be revealed under all that ice and snow. Will the Ark really be found?? What other biblical artifacts will show up as the earth goes through this cycle of change. And IF it does, what will happen to all the "na sayers" and scientists? I think we are all in for a rude awakening very soon. Maybe not 5 or 10 years for now, but within our lifetimes. God be with you...

That car is more Audi then I thought, and I have worked on quite a few. Lambo, much like Ferrari is an assembler now..not like the old days with the hand beaten panels done on site..what a joke. They charge 200k for that??
