  1. Congrats guys! The cars look great, the purple is CRAZY. I'd like to see it parked under the tree in Fortis' house. :)
  2. I have some cookbooks he autographed, have been cooking out of them since th news. Next up is Cote de boeuf, French fries, and burgundy.
  3. This is AWESOME! How is the LM to drive and maintain???
  4. You could head out to the Hualapai Tribe area with the family for outdoor tours. A buddy of mine has done a multi-day hike there but apparently there's a long waiting list for permits to do that. https://www.grandcanyontrust.org/hualapai Here's the Havasu falls (3.5hrs from Vegas. Maybe go out there, do stuff, spend the night, do more stuff, and head back) http://waterfallsofthegrandcanyon.com/havasu-falls/
  5. I looked at this a couple of years ago, and for the price I just ended up just buying all my Blu-ray titles I wanted access to in digital versions on iTunes and saved them to local storage. Stream them back through appletv. Load onto iPads before trips for the kids then clear them off when we are back etc.
  6. If you're near LA these guys might be able to help: http://burnsbouchard.com/
  7. Maybe. He is arguing that the final sales contract doesn't actually contain a restriction on reselling the car. Ford says it's not a party to that agreement so it doesn't wipe out the 24-month promise. /// For anyone interested in the trivia of what the documents said read on: When Ford picked him they sent an email that said "Your opportunity to purchase this vehicle is nontransferable and you agree to retain ownership for a minimum of 24 months after delivery and not to re-sell the vehicle within this period of time. The new Ford GT can only be purchased through a Ford GT Selling Dealer." And then when he spec'd the car he got an order confirmation from Ford that said: "By signing this Order Confirmation Form you are verifying the following: A) The specifications above accurately represent your Ford GT order. You understand that being selected for the opportunity to purchase this vehicle is non-transferable and agree not to sell the vehicle within the first 24 months of delivery. All vehicles must be purchased through a U.S. Ford dealer. " And then he had to sign an affidavit of eligibility which sets the stage for his argument that the final sales contract didn't prohibit resale: “ales of the GT will be made by Ford dealers,” "The purchase price and all other terms of sale will be determined by the seller in accordance with such terms and processes as the seller may establish." "Each seller of a GT will have the right to condition the sale on the purchaser’s agreement to restrictions on resale or transfer of the GT or to a right of the seller to repurchase the GT within specified time periods, to the extent such restrictions or requirements are permitted under applicable law. " "6. Sales of the GT. I understand and acknowledge that … (e) the terms of any purchase are subject to mutual agreement by the seller and the purchaser. " So the dealer is the actual seller, according to Cena, and that contract says: "This Order and Agreement represents the final agreement between the parties related to the sale of the vehicle and may not be contradicted by evidence of prior, contemporaneous, or subsequent oral agreement of the parties." He claims this clause wipes out all the 24 month stuff Ford said in its emails and order confirmations etc. If it isn't in the dealer contract then it's not part of the sale. Ford's answer to all this is that there are two agreements: one agreement between Ford and Cena agreeing he won't sell for 24 months, and a second agreement between him and the dealer actually selling the vehicle. Ford says it isn't a party to the second agreement so that "final agreement" clause doesn't apply to Ford and Cena is still bound by his 24 month promise. Ford also sued the broker he sold it to.
  8. Someone figured out to do a private sale out of public view and let the subsequent purchaser go do an auction sale. Ford lawyers probably told Ford not to risk a suit against the subsequent purchaser because if it went south it would remove the deterrent value against the other 497 some odd purchasers who haven’t resold yet. They’ll ride out their Cena suit and hope for the best.
  9. I never saw this hit the mecum auction lots: https://www.mecum.com/lots/SC0518-327145/2017-ford-gt/ But apparently it sold for $1.65m https://jalopnik.com/mecum-auctions-mysteri...5-mi-1826178072
  10. That's bold! Awesome stablemate for the Lambo!

  12. Beautiful cars! Can I ask, what is the reason for the size of the price difference between the gold and the brown? No criticism implied here, they just both look awesome and I’m uninformed of the differences. Guessing gold is just rarer or its consignment? I only see 1 brown on the website is there a new one coming up? PS your team ROCKS, I inquired about a car this week on email and had a voicemail and an email sent back in record time and when I called back I got in touch immediately. Cusatomer service is top notch at your shop.
  13. pretty sure you are legally required to post rolling go-pro footage of the vent!
  14. I can say for sure that the left fender will NOT fit on the right side of the newer Gallardo. (This message brought to you by two glasses of 2014 Villa Del Lago cab sav, one glass of 14 Dalla Valle cab, after 14 hours of juggling kids so wifey could have a good mother’s day)
  15. This is spectacular! Thank you! I’ve been casually looking at this era and this is very clear and helpful.
  16. Beautiful! Enjoy the top-down weather!!
  17. Yes I pay about $100,000 USD per year for my employees to have health insurance. I’m still doing OK for sure, but it is a big one. Building rent and other benefits like 401k are the non-salary big ones. And the deductible is still significant maybe $2000 a year. Co-pays are like $30 a visit. What is it like across the pond?
  18. If there's something appreciably better I haven't found it yet. I have a small business (under 15 employees) and we just switched from a grandfathered Humana plan to Blue Cross/Blue Shield gold plan. The coverage was better and rates sound similar to what you mentioned, for Family $1721, Employee/Spouse $1147 and Employee Only $573. The HSA thing Bill mentioned is that you find an HSA plan, contribute up to $3,400 a year to it, and it decreases your taxable income (line 25 on your 1040), use it for your medical expenses.

One of my friends has a large watch collection and, like you, he stores them accessibly in a walk in. He put a camera in there for the watch collection. But I forget the brand. You could easily order a Nest, Ring, or LogiCircle camera off Amazon and put it in there and activate motion alerts. Then you'll have an app on your phone to view the camera live whenever you want it, and you'll get a push notification on your phone if there's motion and you can just click the notification and view what set it off. You just need a power outlet and it will connect to wifi network. Accomplishes basically same thing as putting a special alarm+gsm dialer in there.
  20. Now that's a way to start my friday!
