So this cop pulls up next to me today....

I'm at a redlight and I see two cops stop next to me. I look over figuring that they are going to give me shit.

 

Cop: "What's up?"

Me: "Not much how are you doing today?"

Cop: "Great, is that thing the twin turbo I've been seeing on the Internet?"

Me: "It's twin turbo yeah"

Cop: "Can you open that thing and fly by us I wanna hear what it sounds like"

Me: "Ok"

 

 

Then the light turns green. Everyone sees the cop and is driving SUPER SLOW. As soon as I get an opening I floor it in the you can hear the turbos spool up as I fly by the cops. Then the cops flash their lights, wave and take off on a different road.

 

At the next light I stopped at people were like "WHAT THE fcuk WAS THAT? YOU JUST FLEW BY A COP". Was pretty funny.

I had a cop ask me last weekend if I wanted to trade cars.

 

I usually get asked that by someone driving a Dodge Caravan.

 

I told the cop SURE!

 

 

That must've been priceless. I love cool cops.

Man, that is truly Priceless! Wish I got that opp, as all I get are the ones that want to play bumper cars with my rear end!

Very cool! WE have some officers that are very professional and fun to talk to in AZ. That is one charity I support here...Club 100.

I saw something similar in a parking lot a couple years ago where a guy decided to hit the nitro right as a cop was pulling out (OOPS!!)

That was some really cool cops.

I wish I could encounter one of the few cool cops out there. Thats an awesome story.

I don't understand why all cops can't be like that.

All Cops should let all TT G owners drive however fast they want....

LOL, that had to be hilarious... Unfortunately there are far too few cops like that.

I must say I've never encountered an a-hole cop. I am always very polite, and they respond in kind. I've gotten off with a warning most times. I have no sympathy for those that act like pricks or worse, try to run, and then get tazed and beat. Granted, I'm your quintesential WASP, so I can't say what I'd encounter if I were another ethnic group. Cops are just people that have an often shitty job. I get pissed at my job all the time, and I don't have to worry about getting shot.

Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago, cops pulled at a light and asked to race, I thought they going to set me up because I just left a titty bar, so I ignored them, but they were not having any of that, they kept following me, and dogging me for a race, so after the second prompt I floored it, gave them their show and proceeded home @ the speed limit w/o a police escort.

Thats great. I know their are a few active cops over on fchat. Probably a good chance they have read about and seen many pics of your car as there are quite a few on the net these days. Gotta love an enthusiast in Uniform!

We have a few stories we could share

I have encountered both cool cops and dick head cops. Depending on what type I have just encountered changes my mind about them. They are human and so are we and first impressions still go a long way.

Best car story cop was when one followed me into a gas station and came over with a smile and said

"I'm not sure your car is legal for the road so I will have to take it for a test drive"
