This car has been available for a few years now. Im surprised no one has picked it up yet.

 

didn't know they had 2009 models a few years ago

This car was on the Lamborghini stand at last years Detroit Auto show in Jan '09. Guess its been a long year... :eusa_wall:

that looks very nice but I guess if you mark the paint you screwed, I always wanted to ask, do the matte paint jobs get some sort of protective coating like the clear used on normal paint jobs?

Yes, they are still cleared over just like any other modern paint job. I had this fear as well, that the car would be like having flat wall paint that would show every little mark, but they are actually more durable than you think from looks alone.

 

I've heard rumors someone local in socal has a satin balloon white car that is supposed to be absolutely insane, still trying to hunt it down.

Absolutely adore this car. Crazy awesome. But yeah, as you can see in the matte paint cleaning thread, there are plenty of people who like the look, but wouldn't want to live with it.

Because it looks like shit, like old enamel paint that's oxidized. :gay:
