You know how most ghosts are sitting in rocking chairs and wearing white? We have a ghost and its totally different than anything I have heard of. I have a house that is 80 years old. I see this ghost at anytime of the day. Whenever I see it, it is masturbating. She doesnt ever say anything. She just looks up at me. She is pretty sweaty, and serious. I dont know if she is trembling in fear, laughing, or having an orgasm.

 

Seriously, who makes these rules?

 

Why are ghost dressed from the colonial period? Why dont we hear of greek warrior ghosts? If we see colonial ghosts, what did people from the colonial period see?

 

Why arent there happy ghosts, or maybe a motivational coach sort of ghost?

 

 

 

 

 

In these 1.5 pages we already have multiple "evidence" of ghosts just hanging around.. how many others swear they have "powers" or saw ghosts.. this would be all over youtube yesterday. Isn't there a specific ghost hunter show where they have not found zilch for multiple seasons now?

Yep, same reason a large majority of people wouldn't have the balls to spend a night in a cemetery. Its not like anything would happen to them, but they are fearful, especially at night when they can't properly rely on their vision.

I wouldnt use those ghost hunters shows as evidence. I mean you are right, they never "verify" any haunting which annoys the fcuk out of me because they go for 1 fcuking night, and if nothing happens they write it off. Even worse, is when something does happen, they just go ahead and say "well this was wierd but doesnt prove anything, so its not haunted."

In highschool I had a friend who lived in an old house, like 130 years old or something.

his whole family swore up and down that the house was haunted and they all had their own separate stories. I only remember 2 of them though

 

My friend came home from school and found the house to be empty. He went to his room in the basement.

 

No way I am living in the basement of a house that old. Would freak me out too much.

 

There is even a very deep well inside the house which seems to scare people, i think people watch too many horror films as that is not at all freaky compared to sum stuff which is genuinely weird.

My mom, when she was about 9, was woken up by her great grandma and was told that she was sick and needed to go to tell her mom and dad. Turns out her great grandma has been dead for 5 or so years and she had the beginning stages of the flu.

A friend of mine was doing work on an old house with a few friends of his. They were tearing down the roof and he started to record some of it with his cellphone. They finished the day and went home and he showed his girlfriend the video that night. In the background you can hear a man yelling/crying "Stop! That's my house! Don't take it down! Please!" Turns out the house they were working on was the house of a man who passed away about 6 months ago. I saw the video myself and it seriously freaked me out.

ive never seen a ghost, but have felt a presence..i bought a custom old stone house years ago this old guy took years to build..he got arthritis and couldnt work anymore so he took himself out in the kitchen with a 12 guage..unknown to me, when i bought it, the kitchen felt strange, weird, temp changes, etc...felt like someone was watching you all the time...it gave me the creeps, I had one of those sage burning savants come over to send him on his way, and sold the house with full disclosure..

-why would a sound that nobody could hear be recorded?

 

-why dont ghost just make movies and music on CDs at walmart before they are opened?

 

-if the video was analog, how did the ghost know the recording speed? If it was digital, how did he know the format recorded in?

 

-if he was smart enough to do this, why did he not just yell in person.....or know the roof needed to be replaced?

This thread is awesome...love the combination of humor, skeptics and personal stories...always a great blend! I'll share one of my many experiences....

 

Several years ago I was living in Seattle and was room mates with my sister and two other friends....at the time I was a bouncer at a club and two of my roomies worked with me as well. Our normal routine waqs to get off work and head to the house and play video games until the break of day. The house was a newer split level, so you could clearly see the front door from the living room as there was just a wrought iron rail overlooking the stairs to the front door. The couch was backed up to this railing and 3 of us were sitting on the couch and a couple of other friends were scattered about the living room "cheering" the video challenges taking place.

 

About 4 am, the front door knob turned, we could hear it clearly, everyone on the couch looked over the rail and watched in disbelief as the knob turned, front door opened slowly, opened enough to allow a person to enter or exit unobstructed...the door then closed slowly and was pushed or pulled shut completely. No one entered the house or left the house. We all sat in silence staring at the front door....I don't think any one of the 5 or so people that were there said a word for the next hour...it was just weird and sorta creepy. No one was drinking and nothing being smoked...LOL. We all saw the same damn thing.

 

Weird. Anyways, loving the thread and back to my regularly scheduled weirdness.

once i was conducting a quality test on one of my sites. All of the suddened i felt as i was being watched. Needless to say, i didn't let it get to me that much considering i finished what i started without any disturbance whatsoever.
