The same people who make the engine for the Veyron make the engine block for Koenigsegg.

 

Yes, but the engine is based off of the Ford Modular V8. Original CC8's had a Ford block, I believe.

It used to be. They now have an engine proprietary to them.

The ccx that i heard was much louder than the Agera, both are deep and rumbly but the new car is actually quite quiet in person. They did a couple of display laps at a track with an Agera, 599 GTO and Zonda all owned by the same guy both of which were significantly louder than it. His CCX however was flame spitting and mean.

In a documentary on swedish TV some years back, they talked about the "Ford" engine. It was based on a much reworked Ford block, but 80% of the parts in the engine was to their own design.
