Congrats :)

I passed mine a little over a year ago (followed by the Series 7 and the NYS Series 66). I thought the 7 was easy compared to the LAH exam. Much more common sense rather than memorizing all things like all the different medical plans A-J etc... Bleh.

The 7 is heavy on options and similar things :)

Congrats! Curious to know details about the tests or find out different paths to take after. I'm looking at selling insurance as a possible career path after I graduate.

Congrats, from the responses it sounds like a big achievement.

Forgive my ignorance, but can someone explain the significance and requirement of this? I take it this is a cert you need to sell various types of insurance?

Yes, to sell insurance in the manner that CGT-N-IT specified. Can't do business if you aren't licensed, so it is an important step.

Series 7 (and in NY at least, Series 66 as well. I think for many it is the Series 6) are needed to be a Registered Representative (sell variable products, trade equities, etc.). That is a fun 6 hour, 250 question test :)
