Hemlock Report post Posted April 23, 2013 Just came back from this. I'm not a Tom Cruise fan by any means but I don't boycott his stuff like others do. As a matter of fact I could care less what he does in his private life. So I went to see this film has it looked interesting visually. I loved it, great visuals, great architecture and design. Great sountrack by French () band M83, ok script, overall an impressive sci fi movie and I hadn't seen a good one in a long time. If anything the movie is maybe a bit too long but I totally recommand seeing it in the theatre as most would be lost even on the biggest TV screen. Anybody else seen it? Perdition Report post Posted April 25, 2013 Saw it last week. It's visually pleasing and has a decent plot although it borrows many ideas from other sci-fi flicks. Tom Cruise is a great actor even though I'm not a fan of him off camera. I liked the other casting as well. I enjoyed it and definitely don't regret going to see it. One of my friends described it as a sci-fi movie for someone who doesn't necessarily like sci-fi. I think that describes it well. Mainstreamed but with elements from other monumental films.
