MetzgerTurbo Report post Posted February 6, 2015 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lamborghini-Gallar...=US_Cars_Trucks I am somewhat interested in it...but not heard of the turbo company before. I've heard of the company in the Supra/Porsche/GTR world and the reviews we're mixed at best. I never dealt with them, so I can't speak directly...esp. for the TTG platform. However, that color combo + 6 speed!!!!
kmr Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I have been to their facility in Orlando. Seemed like a nice place but not sure how they are in regards to TT Lambos. I took a ride in one with the owner of ###### and was fast as hell... but again not sure how it held up etc.
Assman Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I've heard of them before too. They're based out of Texas I think. If you look at it get a PPI with Brian @ Supercar Specialists. He builds TT'gs himself so he'll know what to look for.
Destructo Report post Posted February 6, 2015 Judging from the tacky shields and the "no name" TT kit, i'd avoid it, but that's my preference. I've heard of , but I might be confusing them with the Import scene group who makes stupid power out of the rice rockets. Infamous Report post Posted February 6, 2015 Judging from the tacky shields and the "no name" TT kit, i'd avoid it, but that's my preference. I've heard of ######, but I might be confusing them with the Import scene group who makes stupid power out of the rice rockets. It is the same company that has high horsepower supras. I don't remember if it was ###### or not. One of the companies that was big in the import scene tried building a TT G and wound up having to buy the car from the owner if Im not mistaking. It just went all sorts of wrong..

Kisco Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I'd play it safe and just stick with what's proven. A UGR bolt-on kit is basically the same price as the receipt shown on ebay from the other company.
ATL_ Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I strangely like the color combination. Assuming it runs well (which, admittedly, is a huge assumption) that is probably the most fun you can have in a car for $90k.
Allen Olson Report post Posted February 6, 2015 If the price is right I wouldn't worry about the quality of the turbo build. As a company they have a ton of experience turbocharging lots of platforms. I believe they use Shane T for their Motec tuning. He is one of the best calibrators in the business. The question I would be asking is the resale value of the car when you are ready to move on. Since they aren't know in the Lambo game very much it may hinder a quick sale. I doubt a turbo 6spd gallardo will depreciate much if any at that price point.

That could blow your engine and then you really be fucked? I fail to see the logic here.....
Nolf1023 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I'm pretty sure ###### is a fairly big name in the tuner crowd, and as such they definitely have experience with high hp turbo builds. They've been around for a while and have built some very fast cars. However, I have never heard of them doing any Lambos, but then again I never payed much attention. AudiBull Report post Posted February 6, 2015 Why worry about a Turbo build? That could blow your engine and then you really be fucked? I fail to see the logic here..... The only other TTG I remember them having anything to do with was a Russian one that blew the engine less than 100 miles after the build (freshly built engine too). Lambofan35 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I'm blown away that no one has seen this car for sale. Its been for sale for like a year, lol. No one wants it because of the unknown turbo kit on it. It could have been done a hundred different ways in terms of the TT kit so who knows if its good or not. I've been to the tuners shop and saw another TT they had, I wasn't very impressed by the quality of the kit unfortunately. Honestly, unbiased opinion, I saw the TT car and about it , then asked for a tour of the facility and they thought I was crazy. Plus the guy telling me about the car didn't know much about it. IanMan Report post Posted February 6, 2015 On one hand, it could be quite a reliable car. On the other hand, it could be a ticking time bomb. Either way, it'll get sold to someone eventually.
mckinsey Report post Posted February 7, 2015 those T.I.T.A.N Twin turbo gallardos have all had serious issues. stay far away from those cars. they are worth much more stock than with that crap tt kit with cut up oem wiring. HannibalACP82 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 Seems silly in the TT Gallardo world to save a few bucks and go off-brand. I am digging the color combo though.
rj1031 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 ###### Motorsports have the capacity to expand their product to other cars not just bad ass Supras. They are very reputable shop and highly respected. They have motors (2JZ) that have seen 90 psi of boost on methanol and make 2500+ hp out of a stock cast OEM reinforced (cemented) block and head. Personally, I would stick with UGR if I'm going with a GTT. Yes, ###### is relatively new to the GTT world but I won't discredit or judge them. I swore he was going to kill us through that S curve......Their facility was a nice enough place....certainly not UGR, but nice enough. kazsak Report post Posted February 14, 2015 +1 http://www.gtrlife.com/forums/topic/83055-######-motorsports/ There are a lot more problems than documented on this vendor review found later. I'd play it safe and just stick with what's proven. A UGR bolt-on kit is basically the same price as the receipt shown on ebay from the other company. joe Report post Posted February 15, 2015 ###### motorsports is a nice company, and they build some really nice cars. As far as the lambo stuff goes i dont know, they are still somewhat new at it. For the price of the kit, i would just stay with the people that are proven.
