BLK TONY Report post Posted August 23, 2016 I need one. Did you order one or are you planning to upgrade yours? I saw that the upgrade fee is $10k for undelivered Teslas and $20k if it's already delivered.
FikseSTS Report post Posted August 23, 2016 I'll just order a new one, last time the ugprades too forever, and they didn't promise the entire performance spec of a new one....

ATL_ Report post Posted August 24, 2016 I get that its cool but, at the same time, could think of a ton of other cars that I would rather sink $150k into. Just saying.

Smash Boy Report post Posted August 24, 2016 Doesn't the latest 911 Turbo hit 60 in about the same amount of time? Curious what the 60 foot times are for both cars.....I'm sure that's where the Tesla is the clear winner.
TestShoot Report post Posted August 24, 2016 I don't care how fast your electric Oldsmobile is, I'd rather arrive later in style. Tesla circa 1999:
FikseSTS Report post Posted August 24, 2016 I did a 1.56 60' time in the P90D Ludicrous with a 0-60 time of 2.65 seconds... Porsche says 2.8 to 60MPH for the TTS, I think it can do quicker, but not 2.5 seconds like the P100D.... Doesn't the latest 911 Turbo hit 60 in about the same amount of time? Placid Report post Posted August 27, 2016 A lot of the performance of a CENTURY of fossil fuel technology got outdone in a decade by Tesla. Sure we won't see any lap records yet, but in the real world electric is superior. They're not even making a sportscar, it's a big 5000lbs 7 seat sedan. And they're just getting started... Porsche is the only major sportscar maker I know of following this up with the Mission E, but the specs are already falling behind. That car looks amazing though, hope they update the performance before release.
