Lubejobs42 Report post Posted January 21, 2017 My buddy SV-N-it hooked me up with a Company that makes these. I saw them on his SV and loved them. He warned me in advance that the service from the company sucks! He was right! I ordered, they lost my order. They literally had to ship me my order 3 times to get it correct and it was pretty simple order; same as bills with green replacing the blue. I had so many people comment on them I was thinking of buying the equipment and adding these to my wrap business. Basically they are a stick on rubber. The tire needs to be cleaned and the pieces put on your tire with a special adhesive we would include. We would mail the kit to you with directions and everything needed. Locally, we could install. Each set is about $150 to $200 depending on what you want. Anything you want to say on your tire can be made as well as stripes, logos, etc. The equipment is fairly expensive. My question is would you order these for your car.

Chipster Report post Posted January 21, 2017 I th8nk many in the car world would buy them. Maybe not as many in the exotic world
Rouleur Report post Posted January 21, 2017 You would sell a ton of them...In South Florida. I think they are kinda cool, but borderline "ricey". Obviously they look cool on a race car, and are there for a reason. You might get really good activity with the tuner crowd as well, if the price point is right. It is funny how things come full circle. You used to have a choice between white walls and black walls. Then everything went black walls. Now, we seem to want to advertise company's stuff for free. I think what you were asking is if the community here would buy them, and specifically if we thought it was a solid business idea. You are the entrepreneurial master, obviously, but the business looks as though it makes sense, unless the equipment is abhorrently expensive. Allan-Herbie Report post Posted January 21, 2017 I think I was one of the first here to put them on. I love them. People in Cali love them, and now with the car in Az, people love them too.

Fortis Report post Posted January 21, 2017 To be honest I like the look of them on certain cars in particular when they complement other mods (Allan's Murci is a perfect example), would I use them ? probably not but than again I am not that adventurous so don't listen to me, good luck with your business idea . Supercar Ace Report post Posted January 21, 2017 I'm in Fortis' boat...I personally wouldn't use them, but I think there is a big market out there for those. Go for it and best of luck

E7ITE Report post Posted January 22, 2017 I think they'd look good on something like a GT3RS which is very racecar in appearance.
yellomurci Report post Posted January 22, 2017 Saw Justin Biebers F458 with a liberty walk body kit sell on Barret Jackson yesterday, looks like it had the tire stickers on.
Rei86 Report post Posted January 22, 2017 one of the newest big fads in the car scene right now. So many illiest/stance nation/bicycle rack people are getting it done. Some people love the white writing on tires, others think its super tacky.
Devine STS Report post Posted January 22, 2017 As others have pointed out. Really depends on the car. Kinda works with a race car inspired appearance. GT3RS...STS...Viper GTSR etc. not so much on a basic exotic. One thing to be cautious about ...make sure whomever applies the lettering knows what there doing. These tire stickers look good from 5+ feet away and in pics, but when you get up close they can look horrendous if not done properly. Also if you ever decide to take them off they do cosmetically damage the rubber of the tires.
emissary Report post Posted January 22, 2017 I wouldn't put those on my Murcielago, but I would put them on my other cars (STI, Supra, etc.). I think if you could make an "Idlers" one in the appropriate font, it would strongly appeal to the RWB crowd (myself included). That is admittedly a very small market, though.
