Mine is a 6-speed and I would've gotten rid of the car a lonnggggg time ago if it was an E-Gear...complete waste of my time. Having the 6-speed has kept it in the stable. Just drove it today and damn, it never gets old, even after 3 years and despite the car being the old, dinosaur-version 2005 model.

The problem with that color on an MP4 is that the average person and their mother and brother will automatically call it a Lambo...average Joe Schmoe will think it's another bull. And when you tell them it's a McLaren MP4-12c, they will give you that blank look/stare/WTF-are-you-talking-about look and then think it's a kit car. lol

There's another side to this coin: This "perception" of us Lambo owners can actually work in our favor: for example, I showed up to a Rolls/Bentley dealer and parked right in front of the fcuking door. Went in to visit a friend who works there. As I'm about to leave, my friend's co-worker tells me if I want to drive one of their cars to our local Cars/Coffee, I can just let them know and if it's more convenient for me to just pick up one of their cars the day before and drive it to Cars/Coffee the next day, that's cool, too! All this cuz they think I'm rolling in fcuking mountains of cash money just cuz I parked an 8 year old Lamborghini in front of their fcuking door! How fuckin awesome is THAT!

I can't stand Bama, but the harsh reality is that as long as Saban is their head coach, the BCS Championship will go through his program - he's mastered the art of recruiting, developing, and coaching players to perform at their peak when it counts. It's nauseating, but everybody else is trying to figure it all out when Saban already has it figured out. And Ohio State would've gotten their ass kicked by Bama. Meyer knows that and when ESPN asked him after the Bama/ND game if he would've liked to get a shot at Bama this year, he was VERY CAREFUL with his words, saying something like "I'd take a shot at it" and was clearly refraining from saying what he really thought and knew - his team is not ready for a Saban team yet. Meyer is a great coach and had a decent rivalry with Saban when at Florida, but many Gators think Meyer saw the writing on the wall - Saban was gonna have Meyer's number year in and year out if Meyer stayed at Florida and the pressure/stress of dealing with that fact probably contributed at least in some manner to Meyer's eventual departure. At OSU, Meyer can sort of get away from the SEC grind, still recruit great players, continue to win big games in the Big 10, stay nationally prominent and celebrated as a coach...until he has to face Saban in a National Championship game. As a Gator, I'm hoping Muschamp can get Florida in a position to go toe to toe with Bama year in and year out...I think he can eventually, but he's still got a long way to go.
