I would love if someone could tell the dealer about the car, and have them try to persue a carfax buy back. I have a strong feeling its going to be a long winded process of chasing people down with an unhappy result.

You know, with the advancements in technology and around-car camera systems, they should implement a DVR function thats consistently recording from every and all angles....to then be used in events of accidents. I know BMW has their "out of car" surround system......you could literally watch the accident happening to you....and in situations like this, probably grab important information

considering ALL of that happened to his car, that owner is a SAINT for not losing all his marbles. he used the right amount of force without taking it too far. the kid realized he was screwed, saved his own ass by throwing his hands up. unfortunately i dont think there's much that can be done in terms of a lawsuit. it would have ended up costing the owner more in legal fees than the cost of any body damage. the only thing i would have done different is called the cops and made his ass go through that bullshit

both the houses in this thread seem to be from the same designer, infact they're almost the same exact house (with the one in the OP being smaller). in this more expensive one, how much do you think the property itself is? according to what ive been reading, the cars that come with the house are approx $30 mil. the helicopter comes with the house, 2 years salary for the staff, the furniture.

pretty good stuff. the jokes were a bit more cheesy than Top Gear was. The american driver was commentary was unnecessary. they over exaggerated on the "communist" joke. other than that it should be a good 3 years

I have a jewelry store in the Diamond District if you're ever in town and want to look around. However, if you're looking for advise on sensible shopping, dont waste your money on the big name brands. you can get the same quality, or even better for less cost. Some people will say you must get it GIA certified. I guess i am biased towards this because I am in the business (its like buying a car without a PPI or carfax). but if you're buying from a reputable shop then you're ok if it doesnt have a certificate. its more of a piece of mind thing. how do you know what your SO wants? well basic social engineering can tell you this. i know people that stumble across their SO's pintrest boards that are full of wedding and engagement stuff. Asking her friends/sister/cousins is also a great idea...you'll get the most accurate from there. You'd be surprised how much information you can get if you just happen to WALK by a jeweler with engagement rings in the showcase. this is my personal preference - DONT get a halo in the setting (unless she wants it). i feel like the halo is the poor mans way of making a small stone look bigger. Spent the money on a stone! you can get a great quality 2ct AND a gold band (covered in diamonds as well) for 20-25k. I sell them all the time. Dont waste your time with a platinum setting unless you or her REALLY want platinum. most people wont tell the difference. Another thing - think about the future. if you're SO is like my wife, she's already planning her upgrade. topcabron is right, there's usually a disclaimer to protect them.......ESPECIALLY since its happened a few times and it turned into a shit show. there have been a few situations where the price was completely misrepresented, like forgot to add the zero's.....and someone purchased it on ebay. dealer said "sorry"....the buyer took it public, brought it to the local news, made a huge stink....dealership ended up honoring it

multiple security deposits are 100% refundable.........but not accepted in all states, so you need to double check that. Try not to put money down, reason being if you total the car the minute you leave the dealership, you lose that money. In the end the "over all" cost math works out to be about the same whether you do a down payment or not. check the cadillac forums for the MF, im sure someone there will know. FYI that $3k conquest cash is money in the dealerships pocket.....so dont let them tell you "we're losing money on this deal"....right away they're pocketing $3k. Any manufacture incentives or rebates are offered from the manufacture and dont impact the dealerships profit.

I thought the movie was very good. The Nolan series set the bar SUPER high for batman (although he played a part in this movie as well). Man of steel was a horrible movie, didnt like it at all. Because of that, I set my expectations really low. I was worried about Ben being Batman, I couldnt get Dare Devil out of my head and how HORRIBLE that was. I still wasnt completely impressed with him in Batman. The movie was too long, it was padded with non-sense, but it was decent. fight scenes were great! I agree, there were a few WTF scenes that didnt make sense. All in all id give ie a 7.5 out of 10 It sets a good tone for the next movies.

exactly....even if there was something wrong with the suspension and steering.....even if the steering completely gave out.....if they were driving *slower* i think they could have survived this one. based on the relationship of the driver and the pole, looks like he went head to head with it at incredible speed
