gallardo23 Report post Posted September 19, 2010 House looks great!. LOVE the outside of it. Some landscape lighting would look especially sweet under the big trees in the front yard. Just my $0.02.

porter Report post Posted September 20, 2010 Porter I LOVE the first one, what was the total land size and the footprint of the house? Narrow 25' x 130', footprint roughly 1,000SF, 3,000SF total. The housing prices here are ridiculous...

Fortis Report post Posted September 20, 2010 Narrow 25' x 130', footprint roughly 1,000SF, 3,000SF total. The housing prices here are ridiculous... metric please? I love those inner city designs that's when you see how creative one is. I am loving the lines of the new house, one negative from my point of view is the double entry garage, there is definitely a symmetry between the double door garage and the rest of the design, a larger single door would probably look out of place but twin doors are a pain to live with. I am very curious to see the interior. All the best with it. EDIT I think I got the measurements 7.5 meters wide x 39 meters long (deep) 280 sq m approx total land area 93 sq m approx. building footprint what an awesome design for such a small plot. if you don't mind me asking, since you mentioned values, what's the rough value of the land and a completed house in that area? You can PM the $ I am very curious to do comparisons, if you aren't comfortable talking about it I understand.

I am very curious to see the interior. All the best with it. I just found the actual measurements. 2,300SF above grade (213 square meters), 800SF footprint, 2,750SF total (255 square meters). Was very small! The twin doors aren't too bad to live with and esthetically to my eye are much more balanced than a single double. One side is a sequential tandem so the garage will park three vehicles. Around the side of the home is another double.
Lambo91 Report post Posted September 20, 2010 That house isn't small..half of the houses here in Singapore is smaller then that..because the land here is wayy to expensive..so you end up having an expensive house but really small..lol
capt_chaos Report post Posted September 20, 2010 Nice houses porter, any more pics of your recent house? How stressful has the build process been on your previous projects? Also on the next house what kind of finish are you going for on the outside?
el_chorizo Report post Posted September 20, 2010 Wow those houses both look gorgeous. I like them, puts mine to shame. I'll work on some landscape lighting to spruce up my front and get more pictures once everything else is done. Thanks for the kind words guys... and I'll get some pics of the Cherokee SRT8 as well.
