But it takes a year to get thru all the holidays to really move on, keep the faith. It will be a shitty year. I lost my father eight years ago to cancer, and like many who have been in this situation will tell you - they'd give everything they have to just have a five-minute conversation with their dad. It really does make you realize the finite nature of life and just how (un)important most things in life really are, when you look at the big picture.
