If the price is right, this could be good as you know exactly what was repaired and to what level.

Damn that has Allan written all over it!

Considering the rarity of the color combo (1/1) and the relatively minor damage (from what we can see), I'd suspect that once repaired the value of the car will be virtually the same as if it was undamaged.

Man, CGT prices are getting bullish when you can ask $280k for a car like that :)

Seriously. That's probably $60k in parts paint and labor if you cut corners.

Collateral damage from this mornings meet.

Sounds like a good time. Hope the murci is ok!!

In other news I call BS on the 15 mph accident. Still doesn't look too bad.

  • 4 weeks later...
You need to see whats involved with changing the windshield washer bottle.

I can only imagine. I had to change the battery out twice and that was north of $2500 lol

but you have to pay to play unfortunately :(

I spoke with Allan about this one. Carfax shows unusual amount of owners. He said that there was an accident at some point as well.

Color is SWEET though.

Makes sense. Weak price compared to what is out there.

The Carfax actually shows a "theft recovery" which has made the car sit this year. It also has a little higher miles. Champion has had that car listed at $340K all summer--I think they're finally giving up......

the percentage of wrecked CGTs vs non-wrecked is probably 30-40%.

its crazy that most cant seem to handle the car.

:iamwithstupid:

Crazy that this video was made in 2008...

My guess would be more like HALF.

The financial level to own one of these cars already shortens the talent pool immensely.

Interestingly enough, the ability to put oneself through driving/racing school is not exploited enough at that level either.

For the CGT, I'd say if you aren't already experienced at the track you should absolutely put in the time, or just not own the car, IMHO.
