  1. Start engine and push button to extend wings. when fully extended turn off engine and very quickly, before wings start to retract turn off the battery disconnect switch. (this is easier done with two people) turn battery disconnect back on. Wings will always be in the up position, be careful not to let people push on them as a plastic clip can break and they will flop around. To reset to automatic follow above post about cycling the ignition switch and holding the wing button.
  2. I'm 5.6 - 7 and have no problem with a Murci coupe, have driven pre lp and own an lp not sure if the seats in roadster are different though?
  3. He is talking about engine cooling fluid, sure Stimpy will elaborate but a small hose at the front of the engine in a very difficult place to reach has been known to burst/leak leaving you stranded.
  4. I need to make sure that my hand brake lever is pushed fully home when releasing it or mine will do the same.
  5. Glad you got your egear sorted. "Snap also showed 80% clutch left, so that was good news too." How many miles are on the clutch? Mine is at about 75% after 11k miles, all I do is try to prevent reversing up hills and I will let the car start to move and the clutch engage before punching it.
  6. Will the launch mode kill the clutch after a few goes or can you do multiple launches without impact on the clutch? Early days but what is the expected life of a Huracan clutch that is driven as it should be (not beaten on but not babied)?
  7. I watch and like this show, I am always amazed at how many scams that net 10s if not 100s of millions of dollars are perpetrated on the public.
  8. Friend of mine has a 348 Challenge car on the road and legal for many years, it is extremely loud and noisy inside though.
  9. It got me yesterday also. Thanks for fixing it so I can get my "hourly LP fix" started to get WD symptoms mid afternoon. Came back up and one hit and I was OK.

Not sure he actually said it but??????????

    Brexit

Seems to be the way of the world. Promise things that are either impossible to give or will only be sustainable for a short period of time and the general (idiot) voter will go for it.
  12. I agree it sounds like an agenda for making more money, either tax payer funded or student loan money and the 460k # is stupid high. I must admit though I am a great proponent of "not everyone should have a degree" and some people god forbid will have to have a job where they get their hands dirty and work from the bottom up.
  13. JohnN, you are a lucky man. You ended up with a spectacular 6speed MT Murci, reading all the horror stories about rebuilt totaled cars and also from certain people mentioned in this thread I think you must have good karma. Enjoy it.
  14. Best friend or not if I was you I would never go drinking or put myself in a position to be pulled into some shit that could end up costing you more than just money. It may sound harsh but it is the reality of the situation as a few posts back you said he got into a bar fight a few weeks ago in Canada?
  15. I'm sure with the view and location no one will give a second thought or look to whether the pool it tile or not. What ever you do will be tasteful I bet. The whole house looks great and I am very jealous.
  16. Me too, the doors get really heavy in the winter and better in the summer but they still need some force to open.
  17. Typically I will just leave my car if it is 2 weeks or under and it starts no problem, if over 2 weeks I will put the battery on charge just to be safe. My battery was fine after 4 or so years but I had it changed out as a precaution, only time I have had a problem was when I left the inside lights on. I had to connect a jumper battery as everytime I tried to charge it the alarm would go off.
  18. This is the problem and a point I keep making to people, I'm sure I will get slammed for this but if it wasn't for a (pretty large) portion of society scamming the system even socialism has some good points that would work towards helping people.
  19. Just so sick of all of this , RIP to the victims and thoughts to the families. I am ashamed to call myself a part of the human race.
  20. I can see LP640 rear bumper, engine cover (bonnet), rear lights and exhaust tip, do you have lp front bumper and side skirts/pods? Car is looking very good and yellow is a great colour on the Murci I know I still miss my yellow one from 2008.
  21. Agree 100% regarding the carbon, not sure it looks like plywood, more like some form of OSB, either way spoils a good looking car in my opinion.
  22. Very cool. Pangbourne of all places? Not been there for 30 years.
  23. That last picture looks like you might have been off roading just prior.
