pockmark Report post Posted May 3, 2011 I can't believe we give Pakistan $20 BILLION dollars a year when clearly they are KNOWINGLY harboring terrorists, and have done so for years. I know there is collateral damage from not providing foreign aid, but I wonder how much better our budget, and our country would be if we pulled our troops out of the middle east completely, and stop giving ALL terrorist harboring nations foreign aid. I think that would turn countrymen and women in those nations and the respected nations armies into the biggest anti-terrorist force the world has ever seen for fear there country would completely fail without our funding. Good points. There absolutely needs to be a serious re-evaluation of our foreign aid policy across the globe. I have to wonder what sort of additional intelligence was retrieved by the special forces during the raid. When the reports say that our boys spent 10-20 minutes after the firefight checking things out, there must have been SOME additional information on Al-Qaeda operations that is now being "analyzed by the CIA." I mean, 10-20 minutes for SpecOps is a looooooooong time, so I'm hopeful that they got a bunch of new intel on AQ.
pockmark Report post Posted May 3, 2011 In addition, all UN countries should pull out and cut funding. What I believe would happen after is as follows- there will be a tremendous battle between the individual armies and terrorists until there is either 1)No terrorists left. 2) The Taliban and other terrorist sects overthrow these nations. At which point WWIII is in full effect. Should take a few years for that to occur in which we would have saved trillions, and thousands of American lives. Or we can do what Trump wants to do, and provide support and aid, but take all of their oil in the process.

CL6 Report post Posted May 3, 2011 First off Good riddance you piece of shit....I will never forget that morning waking up to phone calls to turn on the news. People forget too quickly about what a evil MF'r he was. "The dead included 8 children: 5 on American 77 ranging in age from 3 to 11, 3 on United 175 ages 2, 3, and 4. The youngest victim was a 2 year-old child on Flight 175, the oldest an 82 year-old passenger on Flight 11. In the buildings, the youngest victim was 17 and the oldest was 79." Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9/11_attack… A couple Ironic things.... The info I have read is much of the info we got on this was from detainees. Yes the same detainees that they were saying we needed to let go and close down GitMo around election time. And the idea that enhanced interrogation techniques were immoral. I get the celebrations in many regards. In NY etc, the first responders and those that lost families. The college kids look like they were just looking for a reason to go get some Bud lt and try to get one of the chicks back to the dorm room, I mean these are the same ones that would be protesting our involvement over there to begin with. Ryan335 Report post Posted May 3, 2011 In the situation room photo that was posted here [RomanDad] and elsewhere on the net, there is this blurred out image in it. Just curious if anyone else noticed it. This is a close up of that. Could only wonder what this was a picture of - must be sensitive enough to keep it blurred out. However, if you look behind it (to the right) and there is a photo which appears to me to be an aerial satellite view of the compound because I feel like I can make out the wall perimeter. emanon Report post Posted May 3, 2011 I retract my previous statement and in the future will keep people I wished to see bombed to myself so nobody here is offended. FWIW not only was I not offended, but I would supply the furnace to make your wish feasible.

Kevin2772 Report post Posted May 3, 2011 Some of these comments are nothing less but infuriating! Honestly, im pretty impressed with the amount of positive out pouring from many of those nations. The only ones to speak poorly about it are nations that really arent a big surprise, including venezuela. I wonder how much longer until Sean Penn goes back down there with his buddy Hugo and verbally lashes the actions of the US. capt_chaos Report post Posted May 3, 2011 IT was a menu for taco bravo. THey don't want you to know they weren't eating 'merican food. I noticed it last night so we looked at it at work today, we imported the image into a program we use to run replication analysis code through and this program will depixelate the image and then repixelates to rebuild up the image. It was porn.
