PCJR Report post Posted April 30, 2015 OK LPower brothers, I need a little advice, thought, support etc! I am really struggling with a nagging thought. I really want an Aventador badly BUT I still really enjoy the TTG. Unfortunately the TTG would have to go to make room for the Aventador. Having both would be a dream but not possible. I've spoken/messaged a few and read as many threads here that I can find. Seems the majority that have made the move from a G to an A have had no regrets. Then there are others that say they did not like the A at all and dumped it. I like the egear trans in my car so I don't think I will dislike ISR. I realize the power drop but I'm not too concerned with that...it can always be addressed later if needed. Just don't want to make a mistake. I've owned 6 Gallardo's for over the past 8 years now. The A is the only car I would consider selling my car for, nothing else is appealing to me at all. Appreciate any thoughts! RobberBaron Report post Posted April 30, 2015 I would go Aventador personally. If you have had the 6 Gallardos, then you can switch it up for a bit. See if you like the big, wide, v12 and if not sell it in a year or two and go back to the Gallardo.
VBUGKING Report post Posted April 30, 2015 I have had 3 TTGs and 4 Aventadors. The Aventador is the way to go IMO

VCR Report post Posted April 30, 2015 I've had 4 G's and on my 2nd A. As great as the G is, it's undeniable that it's a car of 10yr-old technology & chassis. Nothing wrong with that per se but newer and better tech is available. The presence of a V12 scissors-doors Lambo is hard to beat. jhbchess Report post Posted April 30, 2015 I had a trade offer on my TTG for an Aventador and went in for test drive. Was close call but didn't pull trigger. Top 3 reasons: 1. Sound. UR TTG sounds better than ANY CAR ON THE ROAD. Period. The rolling tube exhausts don't come close. 2. Looks. A spaceship is a spaceship. 3. Performance. Boost is boost. 3. Price. The trade in differential didn't come with a look or performance difference that was worth it to me. what might change my mind? going TTG to an in-warranty Huracan for trade and a small cash kicker......(and a quick upgrade path to turbos??) iBoost Report post Posted April 30, 2015 If you don't mind the drop in power I see no reason why not to trade up to an Aventador. The 570 is a gorgeous car, but I think the Aventador has more aggressive presence. The Aventador can always be TT'd also, which IMO is the baddest car on the road. I don't think anything looks better than a 'Vent, and with TT power nothing is going to beat it either. Best of both worlds really. Fortis Report post Posted April 30, 2015 To me it sounds like you've answered your question in your first post, you are really trying to fight back the urge of buying an Aventador good luck with your search!
Destructo Report post Posted April 30, 2015 Get the Aventador. You would more than likely never having a problem unloading the car if you wanted to go back to the G platform. And since TT cars are popping up like herpes, it wouldn't be a problem to find one of those for a decent price. However if you were looking for an unmolested Gallardo, you'll probably have a harder time.

rmtn Report post Posted April 30, 2015 Base aventador. It is most beautiful lambo of at least 30 last years. Spaceship without tryin too much or being over designed like i think these latter versions are. You could TT that too later? It is going to be bigger and heavier car, does it fit the roads around you properly? If so, then huracan.
Griza Report post Posted April 30, 2015 So, now that we made the choice easy for you, will it be a coupe or roadster? My vote goes for roadster.
